Jacinda Makes The NYT

For all the wrong reasons.   (Wait til they find out about all her junkie hangers on!)

You'll laugh your arse off when you read it.

When you're a comrade leftie and you've lost the New York Times, you might as well go and cut your throat.

It is very good article..... You have to hand it to the NYT part of the evil lying MSM empire set up to thwart the righteous aims of the Adolfs of his world, they do employ good people.

Should I beleive the rancid vomiting of this satanic tome.....strangely enough I do.

Only it should be filed under "GOVERNMENT MAKES MISTAKE", but nobody would read it as Governments are always making mistakes. No doubt David will supply a list.

However I would quite understand if the readers of this blog did not believe a word of it.

Just another in that apparently never-ending series, "The Ardern government isn't cleaning up National's mess fast enough!"

Before choosing a current political side to blame, I suggest a look at this:

Aaaaaah Milt. Now I've got it.

It was NATIONAL which announced the '100,000 houses by tomorrow' target.

Milt ... nice attempt to dissemble, fail. The omni-shambles that is kiwiflop was conceived by Labour; had life breathed into it by Winston First when they anointed St Jacinda as PM and is now on terminal life support (disguised as re-calibrating).

It was a slogan masquerading as a policy that got found out. I will have something to say about 'Housing' shortly in another post.

Meanwhile the article picked up on the fact that the failure by Labour, the Greens and NZ First to contemplate serious reform of the RMA was/is a major contributing factor to the issue.

And none of that is "National's mess".

David said...

Anonymous Mick linked to Peter Cresswell's blog showing house price to income ratios and blaming the RMA for NZ's being so far out of whack.

Well, Aus isn't far behind NZ, but we can't blame your RMA.

Conveniently who chose to compare NZ/Aus with four other, far older nations. Older and more populous nations have a larger base housing stock. Also, the USA is a real outlier there as there is still a glut of repossessed housing on the market and mortgages are a tax deduction.

It isn't the RMA in isolation, but the libertarians like Creswell and the anyone but labour Veteran's like to use it as their sole argument.

Yes, the policy was a farce, I put it up there with Bob Hawke's "By 1990 no Australian child will live in poverty".

As an aside, like Armstrong on the moon, Hawke flubbed his lines and made a commitment that wasn't actual policy.

David - Bob Hawke could glug down a pint of beer like no other Prime Minister anywhere though.

David said...

No pdm, he was not PM at that time. Got anything else to add? Harold Holt was a great swimmer perhaps? John Gorton had a face that launched a thousand ships?

Adolf Fiinkensein said...

David, you've outsmarted yourself, which is not difficult.

You'll find he consumed many a pint when he was PM. Maybe not so a yard glass but you chardonnay lefties wouldn't know the difference.

Adolf, does dumfuckery run in the family, or you just the black sheep?

like John Curtin, overcame an alcohol addiction and remained teetotal while in office as Prime Minister
