WHAT A F*****G SHAMBLES

So now the revelation that the tooth fairy learned from the media that her Housing Minister made a unilateral decision to secretly change the penalty for 'flipping' a Kiwibuild home within three years of purchase from 100% of the profit to just 30% ... and is not impressed.

Seems Twyford ran it through Robertson and Jones (not Peters) before making the call.

In any other government this would be a cabinet decision.

Another example of government by fiat ... and 'they' wonder why Labour is now trailing National in the polls.

Yes, I just wish that she would not take lessons from the omni shambles that was the Key Govt.

Ancient "whataboutism" about what was essentially a trivial matter, Egbut

This is also essentially trivial, Andrei. Unlike mighty naked horsey riding Putin’s pectoral muscles. They consequential. Mmmmmmm.

No National Party policy then Vet? Nothing but negativity. I guess when Paula Bennett is running the show, haters gonna hate.

Snowflake ... so, in your lexicon, government by fiat is a trivial matter. Actually government by fiat is not too far removed from a dictatorship. Tell me, how does cabinet collective responsibility fit within that meme?

Re National Party policy ... like the commitment to can the Compact on Migration should the government be stupid enough to sign-up to announced just two days ago and without the benefit of a working party formed to give advice on the matter which is apparently de rigueur with 'your' mob.

Veteran...your post indicated that you were bit miffed about Twyford acting unilaterally and not informing the PM on a domestic matter.....you are right;

But when I give you two examples of the same on the international stage including one where gratuitous insults were hurled at a friendly nation by a member of the National government you go off at a tangent......in this case you wrong.

Egbut ... indulging in whataboutisms none of which involved government by fiat ... in fact your first example was a non example ... all Brownlie did was to deliver the Wellington City Council's proposal ... not a government proposal; not endorsed by the government and nothing to do with the government. Brownlie was simply the condute.

Thank you for sharing my concern about Twyford's cock-up. The tooth fairy is right to be furious. Curran/IL-G/Twyford ... becoming quite a habit isn't it.

Veteran....thank you for not sharing my concerns about "Who ate all the pies, you fat bastard" Brownlee when he insulted the Finns without the courtesy of running it past his PM.........toothfairy...really.

I see at the Herald that the KiwiBuild Chief Executive has resigned after 5 months in the job. No reason is given that I could see but apparently he left at the beginning of November.

Is Rachel Smalley now in charge? - if so expect further calamaties to quickly arrive.
