GREAT NEWS.

Ms Ardern says "the text from Richie Hardcore was not "solicited".

Phew amongst all the alleged transgressions that tend to make a mockery of her claim that she would lead the most transparent government ever and would never  lie, it is very reassuring to know she is avoiding "Solicitation"!

Of course a prudent way forward might be to front up with the whole text and put the matter to bed, then again that might be rather fraught, eh.

Sheesh I am old enough to recall the UFO sightings that were reported by a certain Captain Bill "Startup" of  Safe Air, off the Kaikoura Coast.

What is in a name, oh that's right Masport, Morrison, Acto, Victa, Lawn Master?

GD ... back in early November I posted a series of questions regarding Hardcore and his relationship with Sroubek and 'others'. Now the breaking news that 'he' has the PM's private cellphone number. Can tell you this isn't given out lightly ... it's indicative of a special relationship. OK, the revelation concerning the text sent by Hardcore to the PM after IL-G announced his? (original) decision ain't, by itself, the smoking gun but we are entitled to ask why 'she' won't release the contents of the text. What is there to hide? The PM is digging a hole by her refusal to so and it's all of her own doing.

And she's playing cute in saying she had no contact from Hardcore relating to the matter before the decision was made. Some would argue she is playing with words to fudge the issue. Is it just possible contact was made via her partner?

The fact that Hardcore has her private number is instructive and raises bigger issues. Want is the nature of their relationship? Why does the PM feel a need to include in her close circle of friends a confidante of a convicted Mr Big drug smuggler and criminal nasty.

Run the nothing to see here move on meme as much as you like PM. The questions remain and your continuing evasion and attempts to deflect mean they're not going away anytime soon.

I await the righteous outpourings of anger from defenders of the faith that anyone should have the temerity to ask such questions ... orchestrated directly from the Beehive and Frazer House. Does that bother me ... not as much as the questions should bother the PM.

It's pretty clear that the Ardern-Gayfords are pretty close to Hardcore. Hardcore refers to Gayford as bro and there are several different photos on the web of Hardcore and Ardern arm in arm.

So they're mates. Nothing wrong with that. But Ardern's denialism looks extremely shifty.

I am "reading between the lines" that Ardern's hiding something.

Now to stand back and await the outraged screeching from the 'defenders of the faith'.

Do you mean 'hiding something' the same way Clark was hiding something about her sham 'husband'?

Seems to be standard MO for Labour.

You may say so, Adolph, but I couldn't possibly comment!

Have you considered the fact that she might be reluctant to breach someone else's right of privacy by publishing correspondence they sent her? If it were a text she'd written, you might have a point. But then, previous experiences tells us it's not unusual for a PM to refuse to publish texts they sent:

AM Show host Duncan Garner repeatedly asked him what was in the texts, and Mr English refused to say.

"I don't have to tell you what I was discussing."

Quite so Bill, but we could guess. Nothing in this molehill approaches the dodgy dealing going on in that particular mountain.

Is it just possible contact was made via her partner?

It is. It's also just possible that the PM and her partner are running a child abuse ring from a pizza restaurant, but neither possibility is particularly likely.

Does anyone have an English translation for the above?

I think he actually meant 'hiding something' the way Bridges is hiding something about his sham 'wife.'

PM ... I know the meme you have from the Beehive sez bluster and good on you for toeing the Party line but it doesn't answer what are legitimate (inconvenient) questions.

Milt the thing that gets to me is that Ardern has constantly said that Hardcore is a `casual acquaintance'.

That is impossible to believe given:
1. He has her cell phone number be it her private cell phone or her official cell phone.
2. There are a number of photos around of the two of them together, including with others, both before and after her appointment by Winston as Prime Minister. All of the photos I have see indicate from their body language that they have a very close relationship. It is not normal to let a casual acquaintance put their arms around you.

She could stop the speculation by releasing details of the text from Hardcore that is in question and I would suggest any others from him that relate to Soubrek. It defies belief that there is only one text.
