At Last Someone Is Talking Sense

It seems to be taking the chattering class and the hordes of armchair generals some time to wake up to the fact that war is a messy and unpredictable business which is fraught with risk and difficulty in North Korea.  I must say though, that such war seems more inevitable as each day goes by.

However, for the first time, I have found some sensible commentary which goes further than the superficial 'all out nuclear war v putting up with nuclear NK' seemingly beloved by most of the aforementioned 'experts.'

The concept is simple.  Make NK a protectorate of China with military and foreign policy controlled by Beijing.

On the implementation of such a fortuitous state of affairs, I'm in disagreement.  The writer relies on the good offices of the UN and sees the survival of the Kim regime.  For a start, the offices of the UN are useless and next up, I don'r see Kim agreeing.  China simply needs to bump him off.
