Nice company we keep.

The US is threatening to veto a United Nations resolution on combating the use of rape as a weapon of war because of its language on reproductive and sexual health, according to a senior UN official and European diplomats.

Even after the formal monitoring mechanism was stripped from the resolution, the US was still threatening to veto the watered-down version, because it includes language on victims’ support from family planning clinics. In recent months, the Trump administration has taken a hard line, refusing to agree to any UN documents that refer to sexual or reproductive health, on grounds that such language implies support for abortions.

Obviously it is far more important that rape be used as a weapon of war, that raped women be forever reminded of their rapist, that men never be held to account for their actions, than it is for a woman, a raped woman, maybe even a raped child, to get the medical care she needs.

Andrei will be cheering from the rooftops.

How about a change of pace around here

David, you'd better pop along to Lyell McEwin for a hysterectomy. Might help tone down some of your comments.

David has not been keeping up
As usual with any UN resolution you need to check the fine print. In this one there was all sorts of social engineering related to free health care, abortions and totally unrelated issues which the US and others objected to
These were removed and the US and other objectors then voted for it

Its passed, with American support. In fact sex slavery, rape, human and child trafficking and slavery has been stomped on ever since The Donald assumed office
Perhaps David could notify TV1, Newshub and CNN about it

Article in the Herald sums up the attitude of the media to Anzac day and other related themes. Tell a junior reporter to knock out five hundred words before lunch.

This time it is about Sir Keith Park being honoured in his home town written by a Kirsty wynn.

A wonderful opportunity to tell a small part of the story about the man who literally saved the free world....but no, lightweight crap is served up and the average reader is left none the wiser.

The fact he was Gallipoli veteran who transferred to the British army before volunteering for the Royal Flying corps might have helped or even the fact that he commanded 11 group of fighters that bore the brunt of the Luftwaffe attacks.

Just silly one liners and Kirsty, the Royal Air Force did not exist in 1911.

Of course, allowing raped women and children access to safe abortions is "social engineering". Morpork just can't wait to get on the rape train himself. What a disgusting turd you are.

I hope that for their sake, you never have daughters with your casual hatred of women.

I hereby award you the First Annual Russell Fletcher Award with Arsehole and Felching Straw.

What an evil despicable mob they are over at Whaleshit......just took a quick look and come across the Muslims taking over the streets of Paris article.

It's all there, hidden cameras, private security, govt turning a blind eye, snowflake lefties protecting an Islamic take over......go on, take peek and be very scared..

The reality is that it was a Muslim protest for the closure of a local Mosque. 2,000 Muslims gathered outside the Clichy-la-Garenne Town Hall, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris and had a pray in.

I have no idea why the Mosque was closed nor do I care, what I do care about is lowlifes misrepresenting a protest as flouting the law in order to facilitate a Muslim takeover.

The right to protest is enshrined in French law more so than in the UK and the fact that religions can protest is heartening and I have no problem with the Destiny church doing their thing in CHC even though they are crazies.

The quicker the Slut Bride ends up on the streets, the better the world will be.

And the sooner all the arrogant ignorant fuckheads that post there are rounded up and put in FEMA camps, the better the world will be.
