AT LEAST ONE MAN DENIES TARRANT.

Pete Dawson President of the Christchurch RSA has  taken control from the snowflakes and reinstated the Anzac services at Little River and Akaroa that had been cancelled without any consultation with his group.

I have never seen an increased Police presence in the almost two decades of the solemn occasion at the quite striking and oft photographed monument in the center of Akaroa.

Damaged in the over ten thousand seismic events that followed the  Charing Cross quake of September 2010, now fully restored under the sponsorship of the Memorial society.

Well done that man.

Standing true to the ethos of the RNZRSA clearly forgotten by some ... give that man a medal.

Appears there was another player in Auckland. Auckland City Council and RSA in the decision making.
