Nothing But Contempt

Who are the politicians, past and present, for whom you have nothing but contempt?   Exclude those for whom there are equal amounts of contempt and respect, along with those who were simply tyrants.      Here's my list:-

(Tomorrow I'll post the list of those I consider 'the good guys.)

Australia

Turnbull, Gillard, Rudd, Weatheril, Andrews, McMahon

New Zealand

Peters, Ardern, Hipkins, Mallard, Harawira, Robertson, Hughes, Carter, Benson-Pope, Rowling, Palmer, Anderton

USA

Obama, H R Clinton, Kerry, McCain, Reid, Waters, Ellison, Edward Kennedy, Gore, Quayle, Biden

A bit of a pattern there Adolph.
I agree with some though, Palmer for instance is just a wind bag, while Anderson meant well but just didn’t have the nouse required get things done.

Adolf ... for me the jury is still out on Ardern. You can argue she was handed a poisoned chalice with the COL ... I think we will be able to make a more balanced judgement towards the end of next year. In some respects she is a bit like Rowlings and Palmer having the premiership thrust upon them ready and/or wanting not.

Muldoon is absent from your list and we will have to agree to disagree on McCain.

re Andrews ... did you mean Kevin (Liberal member for Menzies in the House of representatives) or Daniel (Victoria's Labor Premier) or Paul (sometime Labor member for Southern River in the WA Legislative Assembly)or Allan (sometime Liberal member for Heathcote in the NSW Legislative Assembly)?

Victorian premier. Muldoon is not on the list because he was not completely bad. Just went off the rails at the end.

Can't believe you left the corrupt Helen Clark off the NZ list!

Muldoon definitely needs to be there if only for the damage he did to New Zealand.

Others include Turei, Norman, Field, Morgan and Delamere.

Cullen would be there as well for the damage he did to the country and the public service, but he redeemed himself a little with Kiwisaver.

Ron, David doesn't joke about these things. He thinks Stalin was wonderful.

I left Clark off the list because, unlike Hitler, she was competent and maintained control. It was a close run call.

America:
Too numerous to list, but a certain pussy-grabbing orange buffoon stands out.

Adolf, you have a point re Clark, at least she was very capable and had political nous (maybe too much), which Ardern does not have the barest shred of.

Funny, I admire every last one of the names printed. They got off their arse worked he hustings become elected and faced their critics without the use of a nom de plume or hiding behind a technological barrier.

Then I look at their "critics" most of whom have never been elected as a milk monitor bursting at the seams with their self importance and self righteousness.
