There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply.with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Yep, there goes Trump, winning again by flip flopping.

What was he saying about Syria? Not the same thing to days in a row, that's for certain.

And he has made another attempt to appoint a dickhead to the federal court.

Wendy Vitter, a Louisiana lawyer nominated for a federal judgeship by President Donald Trump, would not say if she supported the 1954 Supreme Court decision that famously outlawed racial segregation in schools. During her confirmation hearing to be the district judge for Louisiana’s Eastern District, Vitter repeatedly said she could not comment on her personal feelings about Supreme Court decisions.

Her personal feelings are irrelevant, her understanding and application of the law is what is being examined. Just one more racist POS that Trump is dragging into the swamp.

All the suspended tpp clauses in the cptpp were of more beneficial to the US.
I don't believe the US should be allowed entry unless they renounce Trumps "our terms" policy.

Western politicians Trump, May and Macron spend 100s of millions of dollars of their taxpayers money to produce a fireworks display over Syria

Meanwhile James Comey is talking about prostitutes supposedly peeing on Trump in Moscow hotel years ago and a washed up old porn star is dining off a one night stand she claims to have had with him years ago

We have fallen down the rabbit hole

Meanwhile Russia whose economy is about the size of Texas's is trying to punch above it's weight and failing miserably and is blustering as much as Drumph. The fact that a statement has been made by the victims of the nerve agent attack not wishing to meet with any representatives of Russia seems to have gone unnoticed in Putin's utopia. Unless of course they are incarcerated against their will in the Tower of London in chains :-)

Oh Egbut that alleged statement of Yulia Skripal's issued by the British government has definitely been noticed in Russia

Here it is in all its glory

"I was discharged from Salisbury District Hospital on the 9th April 2018. I was treated there with obvious clinical expertise and with such kindness, that I have found I missed the staff immediately.

"I have left my father in their care, and he is still seriously ill. I too am still suffering with the effects of the nerve agent used against us.

"I find myself in a totally different life than the ordinary one I left just over a month ago, and I am seeking to come to terms with my prospects, whilst also recovering from this attack on me.

"I have specially trained officers available to me, who are helping to take care of me and to explain the investigative processes that are being undertaken. I have access to friends and family, and I have been made aware of my specific contacts at the Russian Embassy who have kindly offered me their assistance in any way they can. At the moment I do not wish to avail myself of their services, but, if I change my mind I know how to contact them.

"Most importantly, I am safe and feeling better as time goes by, but I am not yet strong enough to give a full interview to the media, as I one day hope to do. Until that time, I want to stress that no one speaks for me, or for my father, but ourselves.

I thank my cousin Viktoria for her concern for us, but ask that she does not visit me or try to contact me for the time being. Her opinions and assertions are not mine and they are not my father's.

"For the moment I do not wish to speak to the press or the media, and ask for their understanding and patience whilst I try to come t
o terms with my current situation."

This is not the language of a young woman, especially not a young woman who has English as a second language - A lot of it is British bureaucratise and doesn't translate easily to Russian and that's a fact

If a young Kiwi woman was being held incommunicado in China (say) would you buy a supposed statement like this especially if it was written in Chinglish?

The whole thing would be a slightly more convincing if it had been issued in idiomatic Russian with an English translation

As it is it seems as bogus as a Hong kong Rolex

BTW according to Russia in the classified section of OPCW report the Spiez Laboratory in Switzerland identified the toxic agent as 3-Quinuclidinyl benzilate or BZ which is a British developed chemical warfare agent which is not a nerve agent but uses a different mechanism to kill

You are beyond belief....still trying to introduce the element of doubt when in reality none exists.......sooner or later she will face the worlds media and do you really thing the British Govt would compromise itself by issuing false statements or abduction.

Your last paragraph says it all....."according to Russia" say no more squire wink wink.

The report is what it is Lord Egbut - for now classified so we can't see it for ourselves

If Russia is lying that can be exposed by unclassifying the report but I wouldn't hold my breath...
