CONGRATS TO LYDIA KO

On her winning the Mediheal Championship in San Francisco.

Pity the same can't be said for the Blues or the Warriors.

I see that Richard Wade, rejected Oz wicket-keeper, has urged their national side not to try and play like New Zealand ... methinks he would be better urging his colleagues to stop cheating.

Limited blogging for the remainder of the week.   I'm in Wellington.

Such urging might be long too late and now redundant.

The pendulum will now swing the other way with the side's behaviour moving into the realm of 1890s puritanical Bush Baptists.

If a batsman so much as farts at the wicket he'll lose half his match fee.

Great play by Ko. Some of the best shots I have Sen for quite a time. Hopefully the demons are well and truly gone.

Loved her second stroke on the par five playoff hole which set her up for the eagle and for the win.

Vet - that shot may well be the `golf shot of the year'.

I'll be the third vote for that shot. Quite superb. Shows her class.

It's golf. Women's golf. What do you prefer to watch dry, acrylic or enamel? Get a grip people.
