A Peaceful Life

Adolf uses neither Facebook, Twitter nor Google's search engine.   If he could find out how to ditch Google altogether, then he would.  (A little white lie.  I use Facebook solely to comment at Powerline where it is the only means possible.  Fortunately that is about to change and at last I'll be able to get rid of thee damned thing.

You've no idea how pleasant it is to not see the demented ravings of the leftists who infest these so called 'social media' sites.

Adolf,

Try using DuckDuckGo as your search engine. I've used it for about 2 months and found it works well.

Yes I do. It's the other things like images and maps which I haven't got around to sorting out.

Adolf, you need to find an 8 year old to show you how these things work.

You've no idea how pleasant it is to not see the demented ravings of the leftists who infest these so called 'social media' sites.

If you don't use then, how do you know what is there? You sound like the demented christians who howl for the banning of movies they have never seen, or some cases doesn’t even exist.

I use Facebook, but it is open only to my family and friends. Yiou get to choose who you want to share with, and who you want to keep out.

I use twitter, but the only tweets I receive are from the CFS, the ABC and the Western Bulldogs. Thankfully, I am spared the twitterings of the Commander Heel Spurs.

Google is a search engine, and among other things, you will find all sorts of viewpoints you may dislike, but you will find exactly the same on duckduckgo, as it used google for its search. The only difference is the duck claims to keep no record of your searches.

So, other than being a latter day Victor Meldrew, just what is your problem with the above mentioned companies?

And when are you going to get of this blog, hosted by Google, and pay for your own hosting? Nothing like a free ride to keep you locked in.
