WHAT ABOUT POLLY.

A media that obsesses about every breath Trump takes being a clincher for impeachment, tonight revealed one of their own, Carol Hirschfeld told porkies about a "casual and innocent post gym workout"  with minister of communications and wireless Clare Curran.
Result sword wound incurred in a fall, gone by lunchtime.
Meanwhile Teflon Curran is not even mentioned only identified as  nameless government minister even though her "opportunist" meeting with a significant Red Radio executive was actually diaried.
Oh I forgot it is different when the socialists do it.

Would someone point out to the biased an thereby badly corroded people masquerading as journalists, most punters can see they have no clothes.
Their incompetence is palpable.

With a policy declared to increase the funding for the wireless adjunct of the already well served NZLP into a fledgling TV network to ensure the propaganda will continue if some zealot should mercifully bring the terminal TV One the release euthanasia could bring by salescide.
A RNZ TV would always be safe from such traumatic death because no entity could buy it.
A sale could only happen if the price was one dollar and the government threw in a few million as a sweetener.

By whom? Curran's name and face have been plastered all over every story I've seen about this, eg this one.

Tell you who hasn't been featured in the news today, though - the previous Attorney General, one Chris Finlayson, who just cost the NZ taxpayers' $90,000 for deliberately hiding relevant info in a court case. Good job that fuckwit lost his job last October, eh?

Milt ... methinks much more to come re Curran. It appears the 'informal' meeting where she and Hirschfeld just casually bumped into each other was per-arranged by the Minister via a texts trail. Those texts are now the subject of an OIA request and it would be difficult for the government to block their release.

Is that resignation material? Dunno. But I think your descriptive of Curran in the post that preceded this one is pretty apt.

Yep, true enough but it annoys me that the one has been replaced by the many. Watching the current level of incompetence is like a being in a bad dream - I'm alarmed that so many have no fricken idea about what would be seen as ethical or sensible by anyone that holds down a job.

I don't think the texts will say much. The big question is why Hirschfeld would lie about the meeting to her bosses, and the only plausible explanation I can think of is that dim bulb Curran, the least credible Minister for Open Government in a long time, asked her to keep it confidential. I don't have any evidence for that suspicion, but Hirschfeld has a long history of intelligence and credibility, whereas Curran... er, doesn't.
