The power of the Press, wishful thinking and follow the leader results in the in the headlines of a Canadian sniper killing at over 3K. Quite simply it has not been confirmed nor will it ever be....great publicity though. The Daily Mail has a habit of printing these "Boys Own Annual"silly stories, usually about SAS snipers. The SAS policy of neither confirm or deny is quite useful at times....why oh why does the Herald pick up on them.

This week in the Beehive. Blew-it Barclay. On-yer-Todd Barclay. A promising career cut short by arrogance. Not even the Key slush fund could save his hide.

Poor Legbut. Every time a story like this comes along he trots out the same 'its the Daily Mail' story.

I wonder if he is just jealous because he can't shoot straight?

Little Lyin'Donny held a rally. it's all he's good at, really.

He claims he's signed 14 important Bills into law. Yep, Three named federal buildings, four made symbolic gestures toward women and veterans, three appointed Smithsonian Institution regents, two set minor rules for federal employees, one affirmed NASA’s mission, one improved weather forecasting, and one aided Minnesota’s bid for a world’s fair in 2023.

He repeats his lie that the United States is “the highest-taxed nation in the world."

Facts is in 2015, the United States ranked in the middle or near the bottom compared among 35 advanced economies in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development by the typical metrics: No. 28 for total tax revenue as a percentage of gross domestic product, No. 22 for corporate tax revenue as a percentage of G.D.P. and No. 13 for tax revenue per capita.

He falsely claimed Gary Cohn paid “$200 million in taxes” to serve as his economic adviser.

No, Lyin' Dinnoy, Cohn divested his shares, that is not the same as paying tax. Yes, Cohn will eventually have to pay tax on the profits of his sales, but the tax rate is not 100%.

Little Lyin'Donny, can't govern, can't lead his staff, can't behave in a moral fashion. All he can do is loot the treasury.

"Key slush fund could save his hide".

It's a discretionary fund to allow Ministers or this case the PM to assist taxpayers whose cases don't fit the guidelines.

Why it was necessary for the former PM to top up on what already had been considered reasonable compensation by the SSC, is what we all want answered.

Noel ... it's called the 'Leaders Fund' and the leaders of all political parties have one (not Ministers) to do with what they want ... (who do you think paid for that nice glossy brochure I received the other day from the Labour Party bearing the Parliamentary logo ... answer Leaders fund). Nothing to do with helping taxpayers whose cases don't fir within the guidelines
