I KID YOU NOT

This from the Far North District Libraries new acquisitions catalogue part of the series Enid Blyton for Grown-ups by Bruno Vincent ...

Five give up the booze
Five go gluten free
Five go on a strategy away day
Five on parenting
Five on Brexit Island

Kinda leaves me speechless.

It's a thing. Penguin Books has Ladybird books for Grown-ups, which in turn prompted a number of glorious fakes, of which my favourite is the one about cars.

My immediate thought was that this was a Far North comment:

Five children to eight fathers.
Five actually work for a living in Kaikohe.
Five tourists robbed in five minutes in Paihia.
Five more bridges says Winston.

TTSS ... droll. No comment re first and second but Flaxmere probably ain't too different. Paihia is remarkably crime free. No graffiti ... any attempt is expunged with a matter of hours thanx to an amazing group 'Focus Paihia' ... Winston AWOL and has been for the past two years (he has a defence, he does live in Auckland).

I was given Five on Brexit Island as a Christmas present.
It is really great fun so do try it if you get a chance.

Too bad, worser still, the rhythm is stolen from Sam Hunt.
Colin Craig poems were better, he wrote love poems and he had skin in the game.
