Monday Off to a good start. Insubordinate Acting Attorney General fired. Liberal heads explode.

No such beast as an Insubordinate Acting Attorney General fired. The job is to provide legal advice, not to swallow whole the lies of Steve Bannon.

Score 1 for Herr Fiinkensein's Fascist ambitions.

Tuesday Conservative judge nominated for Supreme Court.

Theocrat nominated, not a conservative, not a judge, but an unreconstructed 7 mountains Dominionist.

Score 2 for Herr Fiinkensein's Fascist ambitions.

Wednesday All quiet on the Western Front

President Bannon's illegal immigration order challenged in court. Order suspended.

Score 1 for the anti-fascists.

Thursday Trump gives Turnbull a deserved kick in the backside

Trump comes off, again, as a petulant 6 year old. Turnbull looks like a statesman.

Score 2 for the anti Fascists.

Friday Moves to remove prohibition on churches engaging in political activity.

No churches have ever been prevented from engaging in political activity. The Johnson amendment simply gave them a choice between being political activists or charities. No minister has been jailed for preaching politics, no church has lost its tax free status, even though many engage in egregious illegal activity.

Score 1 for the Truth over Steve Bannon's lies, swallowed wholesale by Herr Fiinkensein.

Saturday All quiet on the Western Front

President Steve Bannon's appeal to have the stay agiants his anti immigration orders lost.

Score 3 to the anti-fascists.

Sunday All quieter still, on the Western Front.

It is only 4am in Washington, Trump is yet to sit on the shitter to think up his latest dumb tweet. Herr Fiinkensein is sitting by the pan waiting for the drops to fall.

Not three weeks into the job and he's got all the snow flakes of the world rushing about in denial.
And there's more coming.
Question:
If any of these who are getting into the US at the moment carry out a terrorist act in the next few years will the law people who allowed them in be prosecuted for aiding and abetting?
And if not why not

David said...

Ah George, another know nothing arrives here.

The US, like most developed democracies, has a system of checks and balances to guard against just the type of thugs that President Bannon has brought in to the Whitehouse.

What are "law people"? Do you mean a judge, who applied the law? A judge so conservative he was appointed by Bush? That's how the system works.

All of those "getting into the US at the moment" are Visa or Green Card holders, that is, they have already been vetted and approved. There is no open border.

Do you think Trump should be prosecuted for aiding and abetting when the next terror attack on US soil is committed by an Egyptian, a Saudi, a Turk? If not, why not?

You might love the Tin Pot Dictator now, but Summer love affairs rarely last.

I'm trying to work out what a fascist is.
Is he one of those people who gets physically attacked by a mindless zombie liberal.
Or is it just anyone who believes in free speech.

David said...

When you've worked it out Paul, tell us. I can lend you some paper and some crayons, if that helps.

Hint - a Fascist is a POTUS who wants to jail / murder journalists he doesn't like. You know, like his hero Putin does.

I believe in free speech, your Orange Orangutan only believes in speech that praises him.

The trouble with a David is they dont realise the world doesn't end at the NZ coast line.
And only believes in free speech if its him speaking
example: Speaker denied speaking rights at a US university by a crowd riot and vandalism.
Well done the Left

Denied by a demented Speaker spouting the usual anti Trump bullshit. Said he was denied because he was a sexist.

Funny that, the worst sexist president ever, Bill Clinton, was allowed to speak.

Trump joked with his friends about sex, while Clinton fucked anything that walked, aided and abetted by his appalling wife.

You're slipping, Adolf. How are there two anon comments above? I thought anons were barred from here. Or is it OK if they're a sycophant?

Speaker denied speaking rights at a US university

Free speech, as defined in the US, does not give one the right to a platform. It simply means that the government may not infringe freedom of speech.

It is the same here, no one has a right to post a comment, we post at the discretion of the blog owners.

Trump denied speaking rights at house of commons

Trump has been denied nothing. The Speaker has stated an opinion. That is, he was exercising his right to freedom of speech. Furthermore, no one has the right to speak in the House of Commons, unless elected to that body, or the reigning monarch. You and Twittler may believe he is King, but not in the UK.

Why does the Right lack basic critical thinking skills?

Missed them. Fixed.

The Judge who turned over Trumps emigration from certain mainly Muslim countries is from California.
Doesn't that answer the question ?

Adolf Fiinkensein said...

David, there are times when your ability to avoid the truth is astounding. (I was going to say 'full of shit' but thought better of it.)

The Speaker did not voice an opinion. He exercised a veto.

David said...

Paulus, I thought Trump was already in the US, not wishing to emigrate to the US. grammar is important.

Adolf, I am sure you have a citation for your fake news about the UK Speaker?

Just read the news, read the news, dear boy. Yaaaaaaawn

David said...

Adolf, I do read the news, and nowhere have I found corroboration of your your ludicrous claim.

Your inability to provide a citation speaks volumes about your claim.

Adolf Fiinkensein said...

Keep reading, dummy.

You might just discover that a foreign dignitary who wishes to speak to the joint houses of parliament needs the prior agreement of the Speakers of the Commons and Lords along with that of one other official.

The speaker of the house announced he would not give his permission. That, in common language, is a veto, not an opinion.
