Friday's Fulminations

There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply.with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Unfortunately our system does not allow your comments to show up in the blog post itself.  Just in the comments section.

Visitors might consider the wisdom of using moderate language.

Regards

Adolf

Twittler will be lashing out, but so far the system is working.

The Government has pointed to no evidence that any alien from any of the countries named in the Order has perpetrated a terrorist attack in the United States.7 Rather than present evidence to explain the need for the Executive Order, the Government has taken the position that we must not review its decision at all.8 We disagree, as explained above.

Baghdad Kellyanne Conway violates US law, Rethuglicans shrug.

Kellyanne Conway, who is a counselor to President Donald Trump, gave a “free commercial” for Ivanka Trump’s business this morning, speaking to Fox & Friends from the White House Briefing Room.
“Go buy Ivanka’s stuff, is what I would tell you. I hate shopping, but I am going to go get some myself today,” said Conway. “This is just — it’s a wonderful line, I own some of it, I’m just gonna give a free commercial here, go buy it today, you can buy it online.”

The law is quite clear

§ 2635.702 Use of public office for private gain.
An employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity, including nonprofit organizations of which the employee is an officer or member, and persons with whom the employee has or seeks employment or business relations.

But I won't hold my breath that anyone in The rethuglican party will be ethical enough to crticise this, let alone try to teach The Thief in Chief about ethics in office.
