YOU ARE A BITTER TWISTED SMALL MINDED SOCIALIST O'CONNOR.

Saying it ain't so, only confirms it.
Damien O'Connor on Jaimie McKay's rural wireless round up denied he was being bitter after he delivered a tirade against alleged serious rundown of infrastructure by the current government with particular reference to The Lewis Pass road.  A road now under significant pressure as the main North / South overland route following the devastation of SH1 along the Kaikoura Coast buried along with the main trunk railway.

Cast your feeble mind back Damien, to the wasted years when you enabled the Clark Regime to massively swell the Beaurocracy at the cost of all the bits of productive New Zealand ignored.
Recall if you have sufficient brain cells still functioning how you stood by a leader who called your voters "ferals"' as if that was not harsh enough.
Also you might recall St David Lange who preached from his dung hill how agriculture was a "sunset industry" when it has been revealed that industry world wide has eliminated food poverty and famine almost totally apart from places where socialist meddling has rendered access to the food impossible.

You are a dimwitted socialist remnant from a past long rendered irrelevant so head back to your fiefdom where misguided individuals are being held in "the midst of the stages of grief" as they continue to thwart the only logical next and closing step in the Pikeriver Mine saga, continue to protest sealing the entombed remains that even you must understand will be ashes from the estimated multi thousand degree temperatures from the after math of the disaster over six years ago.
A disaster that seems to be inexplicably never held to be anything to do with the Mine safety manager Rockwell or your current inept Dear Leader who was the head of the Union representing over half the doomed workers before his elevation to "Turtle on a Post".
I am certain your visit to quake devastated Waiau did absolutely zero to move those shattered souls forward, just as the enduring image of the suit clad, shiny shoe wearing posed with a clean shovel PHIL Goff did in an equally non significant contribution to cleaning the Bay of Plenty beach after the Rena hit the Astrolube Reef.
Just crawl back under your rock and cease wasting time and resources trying to find relevance, it is long gorn, passed by by an educated public able to make their own minds up as to the future.

Well said. I'm sure that blog admin and readers would welcome said mp taking up a right of reply here. Assuming of course that he has both the spine and intestinal fortitude to respond to the points made.

Um, perhaps it's your mind that's feeble. What massive swelling are you talking about? Face it the Nats have put tax cuts for their rich chums ahead of infrastructure development, and you cheered them on. They're still doing it, and you're still cheering them on. Actions and consequences old fella.

Chaz, It's not a good idea to call your superiors 'feeble.'

I imagine the massive swelling is that which occurred during the last two years of the Clark administration. During this time the private sector was in deep recession but this painful truth was hidden by the burgeoning public service which produced enough GDP to hide the reality but produced no useful goods and services.

That's why Clark and her sickofants like you you got your arses handed to you on a plate but you are too dumb to admit it.

Damien O'Connor has a paid-for spot on The Hits and ZB here on the Coast. He spent this weeks's spot talking about how road maintenance was let go and now the Lewis Pass was suffering. He forgets that it was never designed for the current traffic load.

He also has said in the past that a new bridge on the Taramakau River was an empty election promise and that it would never happen - work starts in a couple of weeks.

He was always against the sale of State Assets - but is now applauding the sale of parts of Solid Energy.

Basically he is repeating the nonsense that Little is spouting.

Really? Gotta link? No?

"Clark and her sickofants" (sic and ROFLMAO). Feeble is as feeble does, old guy.

Really? Gotta link? No?

The sun comes up every morning and goes down at night .
The tides go in and out.

Somethings are obvious and known to intelligent folk and don't need a link.

Tootle off chaz and find that link that proves the world is flat , you know its there don't you

Awesome. The "facts" you wish to be true require no proof. Are all rightwingers and stupid as you, or are you exceptional?

"Do your own homework."

Can't do it eh? Thought not.

Chaz

There are literally hundreds of articles about the state of the economy and the world for that matter, that confirms in 2007 and 8 that we were in a bad way.
Covering up your inadequacies and inability to research and understand , isn't covered up by insulting the majority of the population.

The first step to healing Chaz , is accepting you have a problem.
There are many social organisations out there who will help you Chaz, just reach out and feel the healing

Well then it should be easy for even a retard such as yourself to find one. I am assuming they all conclusively lay the blame and the feet of government fiscal policy as well of course. It's OK, I'll wait.

There has always been a perception by the right that the Public Service is bloated and has to be trimed.
Factually there we less in 2007 that there were in 2014.
What usually happens is Departments play the shuffle game with unsuitable people promoted to vacancies whilst showing the appearence of a reduction to appease their masters.
Sadly well qualified people eventually get pissed off with continually correcting the failures of others an leave further reducing the number and the politicians will claim a masterstroke.

ROFL. Adolt admits defeat and slinks of muttering abuse.

Well said GD - I heard him with Jamie McKay and couldn't believe the drivel he was spouting.

Even more worrying is that O'Connor has long been considered one of the `saner' members of the Labour Caucus.

The Veteran said...

pdm ... So, lets get this right. O'Connor blasts National for letting a road never designed to handle capacity having to handle capacity and more. Bit like complaining that Westport airport can't handle 777s and it's all the gummits fault .... sigh.

O'Connor sane? O'Connor stupid and parading his stupidity.

pdm said...

Vet -perhaps I didn't word it as well as I could have. Let me try it this way.

From an outside point of view O'Connor has been seen as one of the saner members of the Labour Caucus. His latest outburst to Jamie McKay has brought him back to the pack - the key words being `of the Labour Caucus'.

Be assured I wasn't trying to defend him - or what he said.
