Friday's Fulminations

There is mild moderation.  Normal rules of blogger etiquette and courtesy to blog hosts will apply.with serious transgressors being thrown out.

Unfortunately our system does not allow your comments to show up in the blog post itself.  Just in the comments section.

I have reviewed a few old posts on this blog about Trump and found that all of the Trumpests actually believed his rhetoric, a bit like the Alabama rednecks. Trump is not a renegade he does not give a toss about the common people. he is a part of the establishment that he professed to despise.

The "Ban all Muslims" policy which drove several NM posters into an orgastic frenzy has disappeared as some of us knew it would. He is a clever and consummate salesman who sells his product by telling the customer what he wants to hear. Blue collar jobs for the Midwest is as much of a myth as Atlantis. Even Madeline Allbright who must be in her 90's now who called him "Putins Idiot" realises that there are two types of voter in the US, those who bought the story and those who didn't.

However he is still threat because of his ego and unpredictability, an example is that he used Brexit as an example of how a country regained it;s freedom and promised the UK they would be first on the list for trade deal with the "special" relationship intact.....he called eight countries including Egypt, Australia and Ireland before he contacted the UK PM...good move Don.

You are sounding particularly sour this morning Egbut. Did your crook lose, or something?

Are you saying that the UK should have been top of the list despite the fact that UK is not yet allowed to entered an FTA and will not be so able until Parliament resolves to withdraw from EU -- not yet a foregone conclusion.

An interesting aside...he still has to appear in a civil court in case that was instigated before the election.

“In the United States, it is illegal for businesses to use false statements to convince consumers to purchase their services, The evidence indicates that Trump University used a systemic pattern of fraudulent representations to trick thousands of families into investing in a program that can be argued was a sham. Fraud and racketeering are serious crimes that legally rise to the level of impeachable acts.”

Basically Trump university was Ponzi scheme

What a guy, what a role model......

Adolf, FYI.

Who would have thought my little shop could be the meeting place for so may right wingers, eh?

The chap I introduced you to this morning often drops me pamphlets from The Citizen’s Electoral Council.

There's a project for you once you move on to new pastures.
