Best Comment of 2016

From Danyl, over at Dim Post:-

"The left sure do seem to have a lot of intellectuals who claim they know exactly what to say to win the elections, and the uncultured, unintellectual right sure do seem to win a lot of elections. That’s all I know right now."

Sorry I don't accept anonymous comments here. You might care to repost your comment, using a nom de plume.

I wonder
Is Anon 2 an annomyous non de plume?

Be interesting to see his response to UpU2 as a non de plume!

Adolph not sure what in my post could have upset you so anmd subsequent post simply pointed out a nom de plume is anonymous.
I haven't even bothered to consult the dictionary but am sure non de plume will mention the word anonymous prominently.

the biggest issue Adolph is going back to your last post that had comments , had three.
First one David says, second one Anonymous says, third one Anonymous says.

I'm sure you'll once again tell mew to go away , but that would simply confirm you are a hypocrite , who makes up rules as you go along and your blogging is not about having a debate ,simply giving the world a few thought bubbles

You can be as obtuse as you like but if you want to come here you will abise by the very few rules which apply.

Otherwise, don't bother.

I might miss the odd anonymous comment but generally not.

I saw a comment by John Ansell where he said that maybe 80% of voters would opt for a colour blind
Society. [ words to that effect ] .
He should better just say that 80 % vote for equality and withdrawal of Maori privilege.
But the MSM screams that is racist alt-right.
Equality of the law is said to be extreme racist Right.

There is another thing which rankles with the so called right.
That idea that we are dumb, uncultured, uneducated, and so on, all the adjectives I give to David to use on us. The concept of superiority from academic stamped progressives who happened to have written an exam. The difference between me and the plumber next door, is that my father made me go to University, whether I liked it or not.
Left to my own devices I was likely to work at the pig farm down the road.
Ahh, see the label fits. Dumb pig farmer fascist alt-right.

Two of the three big hitters (intellectuals?) have come out condemning Bishop Brian Tamaki. Kerre McIvor and Rachel Smalley. Both, unsurprisingly, include comparisons to Donald Trump. Have I missed a similar tirade from Lizzie Marvelly?

Rachel Smalley tangents a little further with this:
"And perhaps the reason a woman wasn't elected to the head of the UN is the fault of lesbians. Let's blame lesbians for that as well."
What is she saying here?

I'm guessing a "non de plume" is a chicken with no feathers.

The left was the party of the 20th Century. China, Russia, the New Deal in the USA, NHS in Britain, Western Europe seen as a success, ditto Oz/NZ.

The right is the party of the 21st Century. China and Russia are far more right wing, far better for business than anywhere in the west.
The US will be saved by TRUMP and UK by BREXIT. Western Europe is rapidly split between failing states led by the hard left, or so-called "Christian Democrat" National party style left (Spain, Greece, France, Germany, Belgium) and states becoming successful lead by the Right: Poland, Austria, Italy under Beppe Grillo, France soon under Le Pen!

Pauline Hanson will hold the balance of power in Oz - hopefully under someone rather tougher than Turnbull.

Only person in NZ every likely to beat John Key's hard left Nats would be a Cameron Slater WHALE party.
