ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Donald Trump should do the right thing for the Republican Party he professes to support and withdraw from the race.    The release of the 'sex' tapes is the final nail in his coffin.

OK, you can argue that his philandering is nothing more or less than that of JFK or Billy Boy ... the one whose 'other half' famously said "It's hard to keep an old dawg on the porch".    That's not the point.   It's gaff upon gaff upon gaff (his latest about PTSD and the need to 'tough' it through .... bit rich from someone many would argue was a draft dodger) that, along with a fair dose of misspeak thrown in for good measure, and you reach the point where you can properly conclude he has now forfeited the trust the GOP bestowed as the right and proper person to be their standard bearer.

As I write this a slew of Republican Governors, Senators, House Members and Party activists have indicated they no longer support his candidature.   Can I suggest that in the next 24 hours the slew will become a flood.

Trump is an arrogant fool.    He has handed the election to Clinton on a plate and America deserves a whole lot better than HRC.

And when has Donald Trump ever done the "right thing"? Never.

As I write this a slew of Republican Governors, Senators, House Members and Party activists have indicated they no longer support his candidature.

It has taken them this long to realise that what the World and His Wife were saying about Trump a year ago is right. They created the ideal conditions within the GOP for this to occur. He IS their candidate and they cannot do anything about it except scurry away like cockroaches when the light goes on.

I cannot believe it, but those who claim to be the moral standard bearers, the Evangelical xtians are STILL supporting Trump because his attitude to women still mirrors theirs. They want to "grab women by the pussy" to ensure that no baby comes out until they say it can. Tony Perkins, Michelle Bachmann, Mike Pence, and convicted criminal Dinesh D'Souxza are all still hugging Trump close.

The racist, misogynist, war mongering, white supremacist, corn dog munching rednecks still love them some Donald. Rep. Joe Heck, House Rep from Nevada’s 3rd District, is currently giving a speech in Vegas in which he says Trump should step aside. The crowd booed him. This is what the GOP have created.

Trump is an arrogant fool.

Which is exactly what The World and His Wife were pointing out during the Primaries.

It is now too late.

Trump will not withdraw and the GOP cannot dump him. Dumping him would increase his support among the basket of deplorables who still think he is the "outsider", the one who can Make America Hate Again. That will simply further crush the GOP and move it to about the same level of relevance as the Peter Heater Knitters Party.

And, it is too late. In most States the date for the entering of names for the ballot has passed. Ballot papers have been printed. In some States, early voting has begun.

Whether or not Trump is their candidate, his name WILL be on the ballot papers. Their only option is to mount a massive "write in" campaign, and how will that play out?

And, IF they dumped him, who would be the replacement?

Mike Pence who gained exactly 0 votes at the Convention? once again, thjat will feed the paranoia of those who have flocked to Trump.

They could re-run the Convention. Boy, that would be fun with everyone falling all over themselves to say how much they hate on the man they supported a few days ago.

The election is over, and so is the GOP.

It isn't just the White House, Trump will also cause them to lose The House and quite probably The Senate. The Democrats will have at least two more terms without an effective opposition.

And, a few may recall, that right at the start of the Primaries, I declared Trump was a stalking horse for the Clintons. That it was his job to clear the path from Hillary. Seems I was quite prescient there.

The Veteran said...

David ... they would not re-run the Convention. The rules provide for the RNC to make the choice. But I also agree with you that Trump will not withdraw.

The really sad thing is that America deserves much better than Clinton.

There, fixed it for you.

David ... thanx.

Aw come on this isn't about who is the best candidate to front the United States of America.

It's about who has the greatest checkbook in the land of the free.

The Veteran said...

It's really bad when your wife (pregnant at the time of his 'misspeak') calls your comments "offensive" and your running mate sez "I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them".

The words of Oliver Cromwell to the Rump Parliament spring readily to mind .... "You have sat too long for any good you have done lately .... Depart; I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"

The Veteran said...

Noel ... on that basis the DNC and Clinton trumps the RNC and Trump in spades.

Bur surely America deserves better than that. Bring back HST.

Redbaiter said...

Veteran- As far as being sucked in by an incredibly biased MSM goes you're as weak a spiss.

Can't you see how you're being manipulated??

Bill Clinton was getting his dick sucked under the White House desk AND DID Democrats/ LIBERALS GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT???

He was a frigging rapist FFS, AND DID Democrats/ LIBERALS GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT???

The biggest shame of this event is that democracy has so easily fallen prey to a corrupt media industry.

Who prey on the gullibility of people like the Vet to achieve political objectives that are starkly apparent to anyone with a brain.

The Veteran said...

Red ... I have a mind of my own. I make my own calls. If you want to condone Trump's actions then go to it. Sez much more about you than me.

But hold on ... just a few days ago you were marking Trump's card at just 2/10 and not a genuine conservative. As it happens I agree with you ... his support for eminent domain convinced me of that. So you want a fake and a flake in the White House ... give me a break. At least with HRC you know what you're getting.

For the record I thought Billy Boy should have been impeached by the numbers in the Senate didn't stack up that way.

Worried of Tauranga is now Terrified of Tauranga seeing, once again, every Rethuglican he has supported from Palin to Bachman to Cruze to Trumplethinskin falling apart.

Terrified of Tauranga has also failed to notice that Bill Clinton is not on the ballot paper, but Trump is. Whatever Bill Clinton's failings, and they are many, not one of them is relevant in this election.

Like all the other Trumpanzees, Terrified of Tauranga keeps shouting "Look behind you" when we all know the real threat is front and centre, the misogynist, racist, bankrupted, bullying, adulterous, and thieving Trump.

Bill Clinton was getting his dick sucked under the White House desk AND DID Democrats/ LIBERALS GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT???

No, because it was private and consensual. Nothing to see here.

He was a frigging rapist FFS, AND DID Democrats/ LIBERALS GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT???

Ah, looking, looking, looking, but not finding any conviction for rape.

I could accuse you of rape, and then lie about you being a rapist, but of course, I am above such things.

Redbaiter said...

" At least with HRC you know what you're getting."

The only way anyone could vote for Hillary Clinton is by not knowing what she really is.

As I have said before, this has been the strategy of the corrupt liberal MSM since the start of the campaign.

Hide Clinton's many serious shortcomings (security failures, mismanagement, corruption, self enrichment, lying, illness, disrespect to Armed forces & security staff) and scream their heads off about even the slightest detail on Trump. No matter how hypocritical their criticisms are, that rank and starkly obvious hypocrisy goes completely over the head of many.

Especially unbelievable that they have the gall to highlight a 10 year old jocular conversation while they cheered for the despicable William Jefferson for a second term. Manipulating a young intern in a way that would get any other man in big trouble (example Roger Ailes)

They also covered up Hillary's attacks on Bill's rape victims, including those victims having their pets killed and their car tyres slashed. (Even when there is on the record conversations with the victims and the perpetrators)

Then its a strategy that only works with those who are still willing victims of the MSM's deceit and treachery.

Apparently there's no shortage of these.

Especially in NZ.

Can't believe so many are so willing to go on with the Marxist Obama's deconstruction of the US for another eight years. Utterly crazy.

Trump's own wife said he raped her, since Russell brought up rapists. And then there are the multiple allegations of sexual assault being leveled against Don the Con. Almost certainly true given the current revelations. Poor Adolf, nothing ever goes his way..

Redbaiter said...

BTW, Hayseed Clinton was impeached.

Chaz said...

Whoop dee doo, Russell. That was the hysterical, faux puritans in the Republican Party being all political. And they couldn't even do that properly. Anyway, how does that make Trump an acceptable human being?

The Veteran said...

Red ... you said "hide Clinton's many serious shortcomings (security failures, mismanagement, corruption, self enrichment, lying, illness, disrespect to Armed forces & security staff) ...."

Wot about Trump's many serious shortcomings (mismanagement, self enrichment, draft dodging, disrespect to veterans and now admitted infidelity.

Just askin ... seeing you raised it.

David said...

Terrified of Tauranga can't see the difference between charge and conviction, makes him an ideal candidate for most US police forces.

Clinton was impeached but what was the outcome, oh Terrified?

Redbaiter said...

Chaz/ David-

You're so tiresome. To quote Reagan, you know so much that isn't so. You also have comprehension skills that make the the common garden slug look like Mastermind material.

My comment on Clinton's impeachment related to the Vet's statement above. Clearly too complicated for a moron like you.

Now fuck off you commie dicky licker.

David said...

OK, Worried, your blog, your rules so I'll fuck off.

Oh, hang on, this ISN'T your blog, is it?

Just like your hero Trumplethnskin you want to steal other people's property.

The Veteran said...

Red ... how is it that everything the MSM sez about Clinton is to be accepted as written in tablets of gold while the opposite applies to Trump.

Could perhaps you be accused of selective morality?

I see now that John McCain has withdrawn his support for Trump. My only criticism of John McCain is that he ever did after Trump dumped on him.

Chris OD said...

Interesting to see what happens. . . American politics has already been soiled. . . BJ Clinton turned the White House into a frat house and his intern into a humidor . . and the media PROTECTED him.

It won't dent "core" Trump support. It's not about Trump, it's about what he represents - a middle finger to the political aristocracy in Washington.

David said...

It won't dent "core" Trump support.

Of course it won't, the basket of deplorables lap it up, each of them salivating over other men's wives. The Trumpanzees will never desert their Orange Oompaloompa, but the basket of deplorables contains too few votes to elect him.

The Trumpanzees are about to complete the destruction of the GOP that was begun by the Tea Partiers, those other wreckers and haters who, just like our dearly beloved Terrified of Tauranga, can never find a candidate ideologically pure enough.

Trumplethnskin is the best thing that has happened to the Democrats and the worst thing for American democracy.

This is what the GOP brought upon itself, Trumpanzees who think that ... a middle finger to the political aristocracy in Washington. is a substitute for knowledge, ability and policy. Theirs is the politics of the road rager.

Chris OD said...

"The Trumpanzees are about to complete the destruction of the GOP that was begun by the Tea Partiers,"

Those who won back the House, Senate and Governorship's in record numbers? - get a grip you potbellied old fool !

Republicans/Democrats - it's all the same globalist/corporate/political elite you pathetic fat pointy-nosed old cunt. That's what middle-America are sick and tired of.

Redbaiter said...

Vet you're remarkably out of touch with the depth of the grassroots rebellion in the US, and clearly not aware of what is driving it.

People have had it up to here with the media/ political class. John McCain is one of the worst examples of this ilk. A craven compromiser (reach across the aisle, vomit) who should never have been in the Republicans, he was politically far more suited as Democrat.

This is what people do not like, the merging of the two parties into one and their surrender to the liberal media.

And it is this surging discontent that gives Trump his impetus. McCain's withdrawal of support will only further enrage people and add greatly to the ill feeling against the political establishment.

I think this hit on Trump organised by the Clintons, the Democrats and their MSM soldiers will have far greater consequences, and if Clinton wins because of such things I warn you that it will not be accepted this time.

When people are heartily sick of a corrupt criminal class, that class elects one of the worst examples of a corrupt politician in recent memory to the Presidency????

If it happens, there will be a price to pay. The anger is too great now, imagine it if that crooks crosses the line first.

Chaz said...

"that class elects one of the worst examples of a corrupt politician in recent memory to the Presidency????"

Get real, you ass-sucking retard. She's nothing on Cruz, and she'll get 65 million votes - hardly an elite minority. You angry, sad alt-right beta males make up maybe 2% of the US population. Irrelevant losers.

Red ... it is you that is out of touch. John McCain is a genuine American hero. Trump, who you now trumpet (didn't two weeks ago) is a draft dodger.

David and I will agree to disagree on many things but his post at the start of this thread where he opined that Trump was nothing more than a stalking horse for the Clinton family (his long time friends) and the Democrat Party (of which he was a member) has more than a ring of truth about it. His campaign speaks for itself. He has virtually gifted the White House to them and possibly control of both the Senate and the House.

As for your mouthing what Trump has already suggested that America will not accept the result of the ballot ... what are you suggesting/promoting? A hit on Clinton; the overthrow of an elected government by force; armed revolution ... come clean Sir. We'd really like to know.

David said...

Vet, as you appear to be an astute follower of military history, no doubt you have heard of Smedly Butler. He was a Marine who later went on to head the Police in Philadelphia during prohibition and used the "shock and awe" of his Marine training to smash the bootleggers and speakesies.

I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.

In 1933 Butler claimed that wealthy bankers and capitalists approached him through an intermediary to lead a military coup and take over the US. Now, remember, this was at the height of the depression, when Capital and Labour were engaged in a life and death struggle and Labour looked like winning.

He claimed they could fund a force of 500,000 men under arms which is about the right number to mount a coup.

It nearly happened in the 30's, no reason why it couldn't happen now with funding from the same names that keep on funding the fascists in America.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend reading his booklet "War is a Racket". Google it, it's in the public domain.

"John McCain is a genuine American hero."

There are conflicting stories on this claim.

Many of his fellow POWs disown him as a collaborator.

David said...

Sure Worried, there are also conflicting claims on whether or not you are a rapist, but I couldn't possibly comment on that.

Unless of course the voters are going to do their own thing and decide for themselves.

And, if you trawl back a few months you will also find where I wrote, on this blog, that the Trumpanzees will split the GOP like the great Australian Labour Party split. once Trumplethinskin loses they will be looking for anyone and everyone to blame and the GOP hierarchy will be the ones to cop most of it.

I really give up on Red. According to him anything 'progressive' has to be evil.

His referenced article on John McCain was published by Global Research, runs out of Canada and is self-described as a centrist think tank although a more objective assessment would be to call it left leaning ... case in point their published article on 'Pan-Africanism, Women's Rights and Socialist Development'... give me strength.

I digress ... the crap article on John McCain was first broadcast on GR Radio on the Global Research News Hour. In the US the GRBH is broadcast by ... wait for it ... the Progressive Radio Network which markets itself as 'The World's Leading commercial free progressive news and radio network'.

Red ... in choosing GR and PRN as your reference points you have totally destroyed your own credibility
