FROM A KORU LOUNGE

I suspect that I'm not alone in thinking that Colin Craig's 'dramatis personae' we're seeing in the Court reminds one of a possum caught in the headlights.

And we all know what happens to the possum.

Possums are often unharmed if they keep their head down and don't move, then it is only the wheels that can hurt them.

I accidentally ran a possum over at Pukerua Bay many years ago and the impact broke a CV joint. I limped the few yards home but it was an expensive lesson to pick your target carefully because some, even in death, have a sting in their tail.

I think Craig, being a bit awkward and vulnerable to flattery and not worldly enough to see that vulnerability, was set up by this woman to get him out of the way. There were plenty of political wannabees on the fringes that wanted the party and the money but without Craig so maybe she wasn't working alone.
