When every body is wearing a "Hi Viz" jerkin how will we know who to watch out for.
Do they really need to wear them in the pie shop, the Post office, the public toilets?

Do "they" wear them to bed!? Safe sex 2016.

Just asking.

They were designed so the operator of vehicles or moving equipment was aware of people around them, regardless of the numbers.

Corporates soon saw them as a means of shifting responsibility to the individual.
(Wont find zebra crossings on large sites anymore)

Hence todays practice of not taking them off when away from the site.

If you don't take it off you haven't forgotten to wear it on return.
