ANOTHER ONE OF PSYCHO MILT'S CORPORATE WEASELS EXPOSED

This one caught renting out rooms in 'their' $1.4m HCNZ home in upmarket Freeman's Bay ... you can read it here

Anyone want to bet that the person involved declared the income in his/her tax return?  .... and pigs fly too.

One suspects a 'come to Jesus' talk with IRD awaits.

Interesting that her actions are legal regardless if she declared it or not. Perhaps she off set it by a Trust?

Wot!!!! (1) renting out rooms(s) when the tenancy agreement forbids it and (2) building an illegal structure and (3) claiming an accommodation benefit - perhaps and (4) failure to declare income - perhaps. Just what part of this was 'legal'?

Doubt the Trust bid ... income taxed at 30% vs his/her likely max rate of 10.5%.

Perhaps he/she is one of the 'special people' and not subject to our laws.

If she had "boarders" in a low value area of Auckland it would not have made the media.

Anon 7.12 ... so what, are you saying that's OK for HCNZ tenants in 'low value' areas to say stuff you in respect of their tenancy agreements. Seems to me another take on 'its societies fault'. You are arguing the indefensible but go2it because that's what Labour is all about.

Noel .... from the article "one of two current boarders, who didn't want to be named, said he had lived with the woman and paid her rent on and off for around a year".

Makes (1) a slam dunk. Agree (3) and (4) are assumptions but fairly reasonable assumptions.
Put it this way ... would you be prepared to bet against them not being true?
