Cruel Juxtaposition

From The Australian, no less.

Sad ... fekin sad. But there is a credible defense. They are Australian.

The only thing cruel is that some people will think this is cutting-edge witty.

The editor appears to be a gormless drongo for printing such a lame attempt at political commentary. Or is it humour?

I doubt it was an attempt at humour. The stories and pictures just happened to be side by side. Had it been Fairfax I would have thought you'd be right.

It's not the editor that is a gormless "drongo". They appeared on different pages dealing with different stories.

Work it out Mick.

PS. Whats a drongo?

Legbut, you are.

They were set together on the paper's website.

Do you still buy newspapers?

It didn't take them long. First cab off the rank. Nice little office in Manners St coming up I think. The word networking actually means one way traffic.

From today's Herald.

"An assortment of business representatives from Vietnam are using the visit to New Zealand to sign the Trans Pacific Partnership as an opportunity to explore trade opportunities.

A number of business and trade directors from Vietnam are holding a trade networking opportunity in Auckland this morning, ending with the signing of cooperation arrangements and a memorandum of understanding."
