Little By Little, The Ship Sinks

Labour used to loudly protest that Roy Morgan was the only accurate poll.

Well, here's some uncomfortably accurate polling.

"During October support for National rose 5.5% to 50% well ahead of a potential Labour/Greens alliance 40.5% (down 5.5%) according to the latest Roy Morgan New Zealand Poll. If a NZ Election were held now the latest NZ Roy Morgan Poll shows National would be easily re-elected.
Support for the National partners changed slightly with the Maori Party 0.5% (down 1%) – now at their lowest since last year’s NZ Election, Act NZ 0.5% (unchanged) and United Future 0% (down 0.5%).
Of the three Parliamentary Opposition parties - Labour’s support is now at 29% (down 2%), Greens 11.5% (down 3.5%) but support for NZ First increased to 6.5% (up 1%). Of the parties outside Parliament the Conservative Party of NZ is 0.5% (down 0.5%), the Internet-Mana Party alliance is at 0.5% (unchanged) and support for Independent/ Others is 1% (up 1%)."

What a bastard, eh?

The most interesting aspect is that the support does not transfer to the Greens or even Winston First. Obviously it is going toNational.
