WELL DONE THAT BLOG

I see that our 'little' blog now rates thirteenth on the list of most read blogs in New Zealand with over 28,000 visits in September.

Somewhat more than the 'Winston First Youth' blog at 152 with just 241 visits.   Mind you I suspect that most of their members don't know what blogs are or, if they do, how to access them.

Note to myself.     Gotta visit the 'Tales from a Caffeinated Weka' blog at number 171 ... sounds interesting.

Keep up the good work guys. There are quite a few of us who read your work, but don't say much.

Just keep the trolls away.

One of my old mates suggested that we front up to Winston First Youth and join the club as it were seeing as he is going to be the leader of the opposition and all that, and any way, we was just leaning on our walking frames chewing the fat and got into an argument about how the 1937 Springboks would chew and spit out any team in the modern era, we having seen them in action and all that when this grumpy old geezer came out in his wheelchair, dribbling in his beard, incontinent nappies showing through the split in his pants and had the bloody cheek to tell us that we was not old enough yet. Come back in five years. Stuff that we said, you miserable old bastard, and went back to the pub.

Really like your blog. Congrats on the good work and all that. Onward and upward.

Every now and again, as one wanders through one's daily haunts, one comes across one of life's gracious souls.
