The ongoing saga concerning the remains of James Takamore continues to play out.   You can view the latest chapter here

Enough is enough.    The family feud has dragged on far to long.   The matter has been determined by the Supreme Court.   The time for negotiation has long past.

I would expect the Police to act immediately to enforce the Court Order otherwise they may well find themselves in Contempt of Court.

This is Maoridom at its worst.

When did the Tuhoe Nation gain rights to impose trespass on the NZ police operating under an order of the Supreme Court.

Then again many educated persons consider the tribe had rights to train paramilitary wannabee terrorists in the Uruweras.

Next time have the NH90s overhead and the SAS on the ground.

That will energise the pantywaists and separatists.

Heard Danny Watson on site suggesting things were at all times peaceful.
Pretty much how Mr Neville Chamberlain said about his trip to Munchen around 75 years ago.

What could possibly go wrong.

Another ugly example of the ugly savage primitivism of NZ.

When I heard the Supreme Court decision I thought that this was likely to happen.

Stewart 61 .... yes, being Tuhoe and all of that. It's the wife and siblings that I really feel sorry for.

Agree entirely ! Where the hell is Suzie Devoy on this ?? FFS ....if I snatched a body from some funeral home, then defied the Supreme court to return it...I'd be in the slammer !! ( I am European ). This exemplifies EXACTLY the point Whyte made last week, but was crapped on from a great height by all the " intelligensia " Pfffft !

Knowing some of the Takamore's its not as clear cut as it seems. Its also not Tuhoe's fault but just like the tribe involved with Billy T there are factions that still believe in this stoneage stuff. As most of us know Maori won't argue with their brothers who intimidate them.

The Police Force needs to grow some balls.

So let me understand this:

A written trespass order, prepared in triplicate,by no particular authority and served by anybody... can trump a supreme court order?

The consequences of this are too stupid to contemplate...the police have made a rod for their own back.

I gotta say your shrieking hysteria when stuff like this happens is truly entertaining. It gives you an opportunity to wheel your bigotry out for a run around the block, and that's fun for you, eh girls?

The Veteran said...

EtC ... are you for real?

Your comment indicates a certain disdain for the rule of law and contempt for the judicial system.

Still, if you are happy to nail Labour's colours to the mast in endorsing the actions of those who choose to flaunt their contempt for due process then who am I to criticise.

Not sure the nice Mr Cunliffe will welcome your intervention though.

Edward the Confessor said...

What's it got to do with Labour? That's just weird. It's an opportunity for you guys to put your outrage on and squawk about ONE LAW FOR ALL!!!! Don't worry about the ins and outs of it, this is a chance for you to bash the natives.

The Veteran said...

EtC ... you're the mouthpiece for Labour on this blog ... you say it's just a beat-up and faux outrage masquerading as Maori bashing.

The 'in and outs of this' (as you so quaintly put it) have been fully litigated in the highest Court of the land. At some point of time you have to say enough is enough.

But if you want to align yourself with some stroppy 'Natives' (again your word) who refuse to accept due process then who am I to stop you.

BTW ... I hope I am wrong in thinking it may have been you that indulged the the anti-Semitic graffiti now lettering National Party billboards ... but then again such is your demonstrated visceral hatred of the PM anything but anything is possible from you and yours.

Please keep up your good works .... just cements in the fact that the National demographic are the good guys while the Left have a monopoly on scum.,

Geoffrey Palmer and David Lange have a lot to answer for in perpetuating this stupidity by creating the grievance movement called the Waitangi Tribunal which always says, we can do what Honky cannot, so go for it.

The Veteran said...

Paulus ... with respect. It's nothing to do with the Waitangi Tribunal.

It's about a bunch of 'corpse-nappers' who are refusing to give it back in defiance of a Supreme Court directive.

I suspect that 90% of Maoridom are appalled by these antics and so they should be. If it were a Pakeha family involved the whole thing would have been done and dusted with those fighting the exhumation in the slammer.

The 10% are encouraged by the likes of EtC who rationalize societies justified criticism as just 'Maori Bashing'.

"I hope I am wrong in thinking it may have been you that indulged the the anti-Semitic graffiti now lettering National Party billboards.."

Man, that's low even for you. Who were you saying were scum?

And I see Paulus had showed up from a visiting the playground with his Mum for his turn at the two minutes of hate. I hope you guys never stop.

The Veteran said...

EtC ... if it walks like a duck, has feathers and quacks then it's probably a duck. Are you seriously trying to tell me you're from the 'right' side of politics and, if you are, then bollocks to you.

As for the anti-Semitic bit ... just look at the demonstrated outpouring of hatred against the PM from the 'left' side of the political divide and the defacing of the billboards ... someones doing it. If it wasn't you then I expect you were quietly cheering from the sidelines ... you run with dogs and you get fleas.

Hurts then tough.

Edward the Confessor said...

This is Just as likely to be a crude attempt by someone to smear their opponents. The right have done that before haven't they?

Psycho Milt said...

Come now Edward, the right have no history whatsoever of anti-semitism, whereas... oh, wait a minute...

The Veteran said...

EtC and PM ... I read the outpourings of hate from the blogs on the 'left' and particularly 'The Standard' and rest my case.
