The Conservative Party

Adolf has just read the party's first election leaflet - courtesy of Terry Wallbank- and it makes interesting reading.

I was looking for all the 'attacks on National' about which Cameron Slater splutters every day or the 'name calling' referred to by Nick K.  The worst I could find was this:-

If we’re elected, our role is to keep the Government honest. Our role is to give them the courage to do the job we voted them to do - no matter how tough it is. Our job will be to give the Government a backbone.

That's almost word for word from a not so long ago Act Party campagn leaflet.

So just what is all the fuss about?

Colin Craig may well have faults but, whatever they are, he is ten times the better bet for the Gnats than relying on Peters.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. He copies a lot from Act to be honest.

Nah, 1,000 times better I think, even though he is still an unknown.

Adolf ... while I agree that anything is better than Winston First I still think Craig's a flake ... otherwise, why in hells name put it out there he could do a deal with Labour?

With ACT and UF we know what we're getting. They are essentially safe pairs of hands. Not sure about Craig's mob. Whose to say they won't throw their toys out of the cot like Winston did in coalition with National when things got tough.

However I have to ack the flip side of the argument ... 2-3% = 3-4 MPs. No deal and those votes are wasted votes.

Well yeah, that's what I really mean.

UF and ACT do as Hone and Laila have done and rename themselves UFCT.
Almost believable.

Sounds excellent. And Craigs propose anti-union corruption commission seems more needed than ever.

Well yeah. Because Key hasn't taken a single tough decision in the last six years and now's his chance to get real!

We still have welfare. We still have massive state education and state healthcare. We still have unions and Labour and RadioCommunism and all the rest. MMP. Labour / Green / etc parties permitted in parliament.

And with the Right on 60%+ we have a mandate for ending it all

Gueez 'Angry Tory' ... are you for real?

So I take it from your post that ...

You are against welfare (undefined)
You are against State education
You are against State healthcare
You want to ban Unions
You want to ban Radio NZ
You want an end to MMP
You want to ban all 'left' Parties from Parliament.

ie You want to live in a dictatorship.

You support the 'Conservatives'

With friends like you they don't need any enemies.

Do you actually have any idea how stupid your post appears?
