INTRODUCING LABOUR'S NEW INDIAN MP

I see its being reported that the 'high profile' Labour MP, Rajen Prasad, has decided to call it a day (or was he pushed?).

Now in the great scheme of things Labour will need to find another Indian to keep faith with that community.      Problem for them is that their obvious choice, Dalijit Singh, was convicted of corrupt electoral practice a couple of months back, sentenced to 200 hours community service and stripped of his warrant as a JP.

Still, minor detail only.   Forgive and forget and all of that.    An obvious candidate for Labour's List.

Vet - in order to comply with the `manban' they may need a gay female union delegate of Indian descent.
