It had been a relatively good 'weak' for Labour until Shane Jones decided (once again) to upstage his Leader to mount a sad and personal attack against Judith Collins and her family.   Comments which were disowned by his Boss and for which he was subsequently forced to apologize.

Sorry Jones, too little, too late and too off-hand for it to be sincere.    You reap what you sew and, while others may be prepared to turn the other cheek, I'm not and so some questions.

Why do you feel it necessary to get down and dirty ... is it because you are comfortable in that space and, while we're at it, do you agree  with your Cousin Hone that relationships between Maori and Non-Maori are to be deplored?

Why is it that you feel a need to view hard porn if (as you said) you are in a stable relationship with your partner and/or mistress.

Why did you wait until you were pinged to fess up and came clean that you had indeed rorted the taxpayer when you deliberately misused your Ministerial Card-card to pay for you to get your rocks off and indeed, what differentiates you from disgraced Australian Labor MP Craig Thompson found guilty of the same offense and now awaiting sentencing.     Did he learn from you or vice-versa.

Finally, will you apologize to the Pakeha Anglican community who funded your education at St Stephens and who, right now, must feel betrayed that the 'boy' from the North that they put so much trust in has gone rogue.

So many questions, so few answers.

Jones apology "to late" and Collins apology "?"

Watcher ... well, I saw and heard Collins apologize and at least she was 'playing the ball' and not the man.

Jones, not so .... and that was the point of this post.

She was just sorry she got caught out. She's not sorry she publicly endorsed a company her husband is a director of while on a taxpayer funded junket.

Crony capitalism and soft corruption - the National Party way.

Holden ... again, you like Watcher, miss the point of the post.

By all means attack Collins for what she did not did not do. She's fair game for that.

But Jones went an unnecessary step too far and for that he can and should be pilloried.

Some things are off limits but for the headline hungry Jones Boy, too consumed with trying to upstage his leader, that convention clearly stands for naught.

When he does that he can expect retaliation.

Does Jones view this blog or have you e mailed him the questions.

Anon 1.58 .... with the No Minister blog averaging in the order of 20,000 visits per month it's a fair bet that the Jones Boy monitors it or has someone do the hard yards for him.

Probably the latter. Jones and hard yards don't really compute.

He certainly does know how to take the media's attention off the other side's mistakes - what a guy. Still, despite his efforts to take the heat off Collins it seems like journos are starting to do their jobs.

PM ... I agree. Good article which paints David as one of the real good guys. Better him than Jones any day.

I'm guessing your post of March 15, 2014 at 2:36 PM is actually saying you haven't emailed the questions to the person who most probably has the answers.'
So can I guess that they are actually statements and not questions.
