Len Brown

A little bird tells me that TV news tonight will expose that Auckland ratepayers are being 'done' for megabucks by the hiring of Security Guards to 'protect' Labour's Len Brown whenever he distains to appear in public.

Ok, so the simple question is .... are the Security Guards there to protect the Mayor from the righteous anger of Auckland ratepayers pissed off that they have as their 'First Citizen' someone so completely compromised as to have no moral authority to lead the 'Queen' City .... or are they to protect vulnerable females from the unwelcome attentions of a predatory male.

Just wondering.

Who, Don Brash or Richard Worth?

Holden ... this is about YOUR poster boy 'today'. Worth and Brash disappeared from the scene five and two years ago respectively (but you knew that).

Neither Worth or Brash hired themselves security guards to protect them. One was fired by John Key and the other by the electorate (but you knew that too).

Your man ....!!!!????

No, this is about the crass hypocrisy and faux righteousness of the tories. The renta-crowd stalkers are just plain creepy, another right-wing trait.

No No Mr Holden .. this is about a fatally compromised Mayor revealed as the Emperor without any clothes and sometimes masturbating on his desk while talking to his lover arranging further trysts in freebee hotel rooms and the fallout from that.

Real 'classy' even by his/your standards.

You guys are way creepy with your constant restating of that particular wild allegation aren't you? I guess you get some sort of weird thrill out of it.

Don't know if they are all right wing but you're right they are just plain creepy.

Someone had better tell them to disband because they are starting to piss of a lot of Auckland voters who believe any opinion they have they will show at the ballot box.

please ban the holden fellow. He makes the rest of us feel dirty.

Saying "any opinion they have they will show at the ballot box. " doesn't cut it - when fraud and corruption were intentionally covered up before the election.

But what else should you expect from a Red Mayor except wasteful spending, fraud, corruption, and vast numbers of illegitimate children?

This is why the vast majority of Aucklanders demand a new election - and one without Red Ken standing (hopefully because he'll be in gaol)

Still - what NZ really needs is an Independent Commission Against Corruption - with enough teeth to ban the Labour party outright.

Then Anon says

"This is why the vast majority of Aucklanders demand a new election"

And "their opinion will show at the ballot box."

Yah tosser!!!

I see David Lewis, Master of Spin for Brown, is at it furiously. He's got some flunky in Auckland Transport to say that the hiring of security guards was to protect Minister Woodhouse.

With respect (and that means no respect) CRAP. Michael Woodhouse is a hardworking and effective Minister. I have a fair bit to do with him in connection with his Veterans' Affairs portfolio but, as good as he is, he is hardly a household name and not too many people from outside Dunedin would recognise him.

But more to the point any Minister of the Crown, where there is assessed to be a credible thread against him/her, may be assigned DPS protection (not half-arsed security guards).

There was no threat to the Minister. He didn't need protection. He didn't ask for protection.

Brown does, from concerned ratepayers and concerned Mums alike.

Labour's spin machine at work and showing all the signs of losing the plot.

No, we simply rely on a sworn affidavit from one of the parties. She swore it happened.

The "wild" part may be a matter of opinion, but an allegation remains an allegation even if you write it on a piece of paper and sign it.

The reliance only on hearsay is becoming boring.

Watcher ... the Poster Boy for the adulterer conman Auckland has as their Mayor.

The say the last refuge for the libido before old age extinguishes it forever is voyeurism. The reaction of the pensioners who dominate this site would seem to provide ample evidence for this proposition.

@anon 10 01 I am a pensioner and very interested in the evidence you have for that statement, modesty prevents me claiming the status of my libido but current performance review reveals a scarcity of factual evidence in support of your assertion.

Don't be totally stupid Veteran. I didn't vote for the guy.

It was in regard to the level of the evidence.

As Milt said it's an allegation that hasn't been tested. Until that time it's hearsay.

A nothing!

Isn't it amazing how some dumb bastards don't know what hearsay is. It sure as hell ain't what's in a signed affidavit.

Try splitting the word into two syllables and then pronounce it veeeery slowly.

'hear say'

Geddit?

Adolf good point.

I suppose Chang had read her affidavit to Whale Oil then hearsay would be appropriate.

But it's the affidavit that's posted on that site that is been used by many as evidence that these events occurred.

Be interesting to see how it stand up under cross examination.

The Veteran said...

Ok Watcher .... so you say the whole thing is just hearsay from 'her'.

Question .... why then has Brown apologised?

just wondering

Don't you're not an Auckland Ratepayer whom he apologised to.
