The Government is making urgent inquiries into claims Syria was behind a deadly mall fire in Qatar which claimed the lives of young New Zealand triplets.
Seriously? Anyone who's lived in the Middle East can tell you that the prime suspects in this fire are poor build quality and incompetent maintenance, ie if the govt of Qatar says it was an electrical fault, you can take their word for it because the only surprising thing is that more shopping malls in the Middle East don't go up in smoke.
Also, anyone who's lived in the Middle East can tell you that if a TV channel owned by the Saudi govt claims to have evidence of a terrible crime against a key Saudi ally by one of the Saudi govt's most hated enemies, there's no great urgency about enquiring into whether the evidence is fake or not.

This is a disgusting insult to the families that lost loved ones in the mall fire but I'm ashamed to say that I actually laughed out loud when I heard this on the news - it's just such a ridiculous response.
It would be about on par with Ewan McDonald standing up min court and screaming "David Bain did it!".
Good call, Milt.
I could not agree more PM.
Shoddy workmanship and dodgy architectural standards, backed up by gross corruption in the materials supply game, adds up to "danger warning Will Smith".
Been there seen that!
You mean Will Robinson right?
Having the Fresh Prince star in the Lost in Space remake would have been a vast improvement though.
oops cheers Exclamation Mark
Easy enough mistake - Will Smith's had his share of problems with aliens and robots...
Great post Milt
Nothing like cutting through the BS
Sorry, no advertising for Ansell's buffoonery on my posts.
