The ring had been operating for at least 20 years, growing cannabis in bush fringes and remote areas of western Southland, police said earlier.
Those Southland coppers must spend a hell of a lot of their time sleeping.

At least they got a conviction - didn't rush in with only circumstntial evidence a la recent high profile cases? lol
