A convicted child molester awaiting sentence has gained a false passport and skipped bail and fled, probably to South Africa.
It is suggested Interpol might locate him for possible extradition to face charges.
Just leave him there but make sure his missus is charged with aiding and abetting his flight, close the gaping hole that allowed him to get a new passport, collect the bail but it was probably a pittance and make bloody sure the C#*t never crosses our border again.
Perhaps we need to enact an Act of Attainder with a meaningful sanction to make that happen.
A meaningful Bail Bond of say $1 000 000 would have been a great investment eh.

I'm not sure they do bail bonds anymore, the offender just promises to turn up I think...I agree with you though, don't extradite him, ban him from re-entering the country.

He needs to be returned to jail here to protect the kids in South Africa, which I would have thought was blindingly obvious.
And his wife is being charged over helping her husband get a false passport to flee to Oz (before using his own passport to flee to SA).
