Been Thieving all my Life.

But had absolutely no knowledge of the fact.

As a child I watched fascinated as my Mum placed a ceramic mixing bowl out on the lawn to collect rainwater that was then stored in a stoppered glass bottle for maintaining the fluid volume in lead acid accumulator Batteries.
The simple solution to access pure water was so easy.

During nearly 50 years as a farmer I fought the elements to make my way in life and made considerable investment of money and effort to harness water in pursuit of that goal. Water storage and reticulation , irrigation, reservoirs and always working with nature, gravity and any other force that was trying to thwart my endeavor, including officialdom.

Now the "gravy train" is claiming I was thieving from the Natives.

Today I am firmly in the just close it off and move forward body of New Zealand citizens who see the whole charade as a borer ridden crutch that will eventually break and our nation will fall into an abyss of racial conflict.

John Hadfield is making a correlation of the Government claiming to own a car with no "ownership papers", wtf many of his ilk and support base have very little understanding of "ownership" per se.

The sunshine, the wind, the water and the spirit of our nation are constantly renewing assets  that come from the benevolence of the cosmos.
People who are smart enough to harness any or all have an ownership that comes from the investment made and a bunch of privileged citizens who are just envious of the success of others should  naff off.

Mr Pacey said the council had invoiced the man $1000 for the cost of the water he allegedly obtained illegally, based on calculating the extra that would have been consumed.

If you haven't read Wishart's book on the treaty you should. I remain of a view the whole debate about ownership is essentially a charade. The question is why successive govts have put up with it.

This has nothing to do with Water.

Maori want free shares in the partial sale of SOEs.

Follow the money.

Imagine, just one seat less and who would own the water.?

just saw Maggie Mutu on Prime news, she is not happy, saying how Maori have allowed Pakeha to stay here and are now treating them without respect regarding her/their water.
Can't work out who I dislike most, her or Sykes
