Comment of the century

Over at Farrar's place:
The Greens are not some scary “communist” party that wants to nationalise everything that moves, despite the claims of some commenters here on Kiwiblog.
Who said it?  Toad.

Who is he trying to kid?

Your proof that they are communists is where then genius?

Would you agree they espouse an ever-increasing Progressive direction for the country, Judge?

If so, Nuff said.

They have a list of proposed bans and liberty violating ideas that dwarfs that of any other party...

Incredible as it seems, there are still people who actually believe an economy can be centrally planned, without catastrophic results.

The Greens are those people.

"Progressive" policies are communist in the same way that tories eat babies, weirdos.

What did the founder of Greenpeace have to say about the environmental movement, Judge? Oh yeah, it has been hijacked by the Communist movement.

I read a listener interview with R Norman while staying in a Wellington hotel over the weekend. There was nothing about him - he hides his true self so we know little about the man. I don't trust people like that - especially when they want to boss me about.

What I see I don't like - there's no fun in them and that they are far, far left is obvious.

Progressivism = Fabian Socialism.

Socialism is the transitory state from Capitalism to Communism.

These are givens, and trying to equate that with your "Tory" assertion is either disingenous or ignorant.

I've met Norman. In fact I drove him across ChCh to the airport.

Leaving aside the fact that he flew to ChCh to attend a party I gained a strong impression of him as a person.

If I shook hands with him I wouln't just check my rings afterwards, I'd count my fingers.

The policy to nationalise the means of production and collectivise agriculture is where exactly in the Greens manifesto? Is this where you say it's all hidden and part of the conspiracy now? You people are funny.

Nice strawman argument, but no cigar.

Communism/Marxism is the end game of Progressivism, by definition.

Bzzzzzz. Wrong. Thanks for playing. Tories eat babies by definition.

The Greens are the political equivalent of dogs chasing cars, barking at the wheels.

Of course the Greens are Communists. Every time Norman opens his trap it is to say things like we should tax the rich more or we should stop people doing this. Everything about this party is the control of peoples lives by a chosen few. The big troughers will be at the top and the rest of us will be thrown the scraps. The scary part about it is the number of naive, stupid New Zealanders who are fooled by the crap that spouts forth from the Green Party spokes people. God help NZ if they ever got into power.

Judge Holden said...

You don't know what a communist is do you Allan? To you it's just a general term of abuse, like right-wing fucktard.

Adolf Fiinkensein said...

Well of course Sludge would know all about that, being a past master of 'general terms of abuse,' and all.

Are you just intellectually dishonest?

Or just lacking the historical knowledge for the basis of your ideology?

Or the archetypal "useful idiot"?

Choose as many of these as you require....

Go back to watching Glenn Beck moron.

So you can't offer proper rebuttal then, and resort to ad hominem, the sure sign of a lost argument.

I'll guess we can go with "all of the above" then.

Not that I really care, but what does Glen Beck have to do with anything? Or was that random chaff discharged as your "argument" crashes and burns?

You all get these wee talking points about how every political viewpoint that isn't libertarian conservative is kommunis' from Glenn Beck's blackboard. You can't actually explain logically how that's supposed to work, so you just state it as a fact, like some slack jawed retard. You talk about "antecedents" and you don't know that?

That's all very fascinating and everything, but who is the "you" you are referring to in your explanation?

Some previous poster?
Imaginary friend?
Mouse in your pocket?

probably best to ignore bomber's fomenting frothing drivel, he must have found time to tear himself away from his pining for WO to come back on his spewfest, with its syndicated audience of 1 deadcat and 1 mr B M bradbury, who always cheering on the success of the hits he gets on the now non existent tory panelist
