if the Federal reserve has anything to do with it, it will. QE3 coming your way sir as ordered. Forget the inflation, that'll help JoHn and Bill plaster over the leaky walls, and cracked edifices nicely thanks. Your cash savings will evaporate in an ever decreasing ability to actually buy stuff. The rents will go up, so that means good news in trying to meet the tax-man's hungry palate now that it has been whetted by minimising depreciation claims.

America's printing had nothing to do with rampant inflation in gthe Arab states which lead to the food riots, and the eventual Arab Spring movement? The price of Milk protein going up had nothing to do with QE1,2, TARP, & TALF?
The NZ economy is so insurlar that what happens in the US is irrelevant to it....
