CANADA PULLS OUT OF KYOTO

It has just been announced that Canada is pulling out of Kyoto. You can read it here That is a major win for the climate change sceptics and a major blow for the proponents of Kyoto who believe they are saving the world from itself.

The NZL Government was right to defer agricultural emissions from the ETS but this latest move, coupled with the refusal of the US, China and India to sign up to Kyoto allied with a collapse in the price of carbon credits, suggests that maybe, just maybe, now is the time for a further rethink.

Labour and the Greens argue the opposite ... now is the time to proceed faster. More fool them.
