WELL DONE JOHN KEY

John Key this afternoon confirmed the election date as Saturday 26 November and categorically ruled out working with Winston First.

He did that last time and what has changed with Winston First to cause him to rethink ..... nothing, nothing at all. Some might argue there is political risk in bolting the door shut. I would argue that it is a decision based on integrity.

So the battle lines become clearer still. Vote Winston First and you get Phil Goff.
Enough to frighten the most diehard Winston apologist.

It only remains now to see Hone Harawira washed up on the same outlying coral reef as Peters.

Now THAT will make my day.

I'd vote for Winnie to take the message to Key to stop smiling and waving, to stop drooling over the pinko fence and get on immediately with job of lowering the government spend.

This country is stuffed economically. Will be some cheap dirt in Oz after this weekend.

He made a point of saying he will be standing a National candidate in Epsom. so clearly the polling in Epsom has been as big a disaster for act as is rumoured.

I agree with your comments , a brave and principled move.

PMONZ why do you spam your comments all over the internet?

One minute it's a cheap shirt, next it's cheap dirt!

Adolf, Same reason you act as Key's cheer leader.

@ PMofNZ; you're a better man than I am if you can forgive Peters for all his dishonesty, game-playing and xenophobia. Personally, I don't want him anywhere near the money-go-round ever again. And then there's still the small matter of the $158,000, plus six years worth of interest.

IV2, Unfortunately those that present to be our leaders at elections are all dishonest. Such is the nature of the game. It is just the level of dishonesty that varies.

I will never forget what Winnie did plumbing the depths, but like the the immediate ex-leader luxuriating on a UN sinecure, neither was actually charged or arrested for their perceived corrupt antics.

Unlike Adolf says, should Johnny Boy need to deal with NZ First to retain control, he will. Both sides would deal with the devil if it gave them control. After all, he has only ruled out Winnie, not NZF.

As others have said ACT or Libz are not viable choices - they have had their day. NZF or a spoiled vote (effectively a vote for Labour) are the only valid choice for me.

You are like a cracked fucking record.

Wrong again PM - this is what Key said:

He ruled out a coalition with Winston Peters and New Zealand First if the party made it back into Parliament this year.

WRP AND NZ First

Anyone who voluntarily goes into coalition with a bunch of thieving racists shouldn't really have any problem going with NZF. Let's see if he sticks to it.

Red, You're quite right.

Those white Pommy settlers who walked in here and stole every acre of productive land they could find were indeed a 'bunch of thieving racists.'

Go and read a little of the history written before 1930, after which Margaret Mutu's predecesors and Co started rewriting it.

PM of NZ said "I will never forget what Winnie did plumbing the depths ...."

Then he said "NZF or a spoiled vote (effectively a vote for Labour) are the only valid choice for me".

Leaving aside certain grammar and syntax issues it seems it takes PM only a nanno second to 'forget'. Boy is he some mixed up son of a gun.

Not messed up TV, but looking at the choices as I see them. And right now I might as well vote for Winnie. At least we will get a truly red result, not the half-arsed pinko-lite hidden with a wisteria wash we've endured the past two years.

Key's announcement re Peters is possibly the first real mstake he's made in his Teflon-coated career. bad move. Watch this space.

I suspect Adolf that you have got Redbaiter's comment a bit twisted which is just adding strain. I think he means the Maori party when he talks about racists etc....

You keep trusting politicians Adolf click you keep ...

Redbaiter needs to read Stuart Scott's book "The Travesty of Waitangi"

You can bet if Red was Maori given his character he would hold a grudge and an impassioned hatred for the 'injustice' that was perpetrated.

You can bet if RightsaidFred had any guts he'd do what Redbaiter did and start his own blog--and see how many readers he could attract....

The reactions to Redbaiter in here have become simply amusing. Like nothing so much as a bunch of schoolgirls afraid of the bogeyman. :)

That was actually a bit of a compliment towards what is actually a strong aspect of Redbaiters character KG.

No pleasing you sensitive wee types though is there. Go have another ciggy and another drink old chap.
