Therein lies the issue. The mindset of the likes of Bradford et al needs to be forcefully changed.
And the bludgers complain about having to get out of bed to sign on at WINZ?
That sort of money ($40K pa) is better than most make working their arses off in the daily grind.
Lindsay forgot to mention the tax free $100 per week earnt under the table and the $20 per fortnight to get the boy friend to mow the lawns.
Its a sign of what happens when well intentioned but foolish people make rules that others have to pay for. People on welfare, other than Nat Super after a life of employment, should not be voting. Here endeth the Labour Party so it would be a start - one down, a few to go.

I love NZ. The scenery that is. The fact that 12.5% of the "workforce" is collecting off the the rest of the country makes me ashamed to be a kiwi; that professional agitators like Bradford encourage this, makes me angry.
Couple that with the maori sector with their permanent chip-on-the-shoulder and craven politicians and it all adds up to a mess.
What a bloody waste of human potential snd what a waste of a good country.
