That Didn't Take Long

Lyen Brown has been Auckland's new Mayor for less than five minutes and the Auditor General is all over him. Well done, Jamie-Lee Ross.

Whaleoil has the story from the print version of the Dom Post. Of course the greasy Herald has not a mention of it, preferring a steady diet of anti National Party smut for it's diminishing gang of loyal readers.

I sincerely hope the AG's investigation leads her to ask for broader inquiries into other aspects of this slippery fellows activities.

And you thought Hubbard was bad.

God help Auckland

Yawn! Another progressive who spends up large on the public tit, promises lower taxes and reneges, employs his mates in high paying-low effort jobs.......

Maybe we have an AG in Jamie-Lee who has the balls to put him in gaol.

Oops - Jamie-Lee Ross is not the AG.

Well, we have an AG in Jamie-Lee who apparently thinks an investigation that simply asks the suspect whether they did anything wrong or not and takes their word for it is all that's needed, so I wouldn't count on it. Unless she's a stooge for the govt of course, in which case, yeah, expect a different calibre of investigation in this case.

Leaving aside the incomprehensible babytalk about sisterhoods and Helengrad - actions speak louder than words.

Exactly. But action never extends to biting the hand that feeds you.
