I am astonished, when you consider the crusade to force sunlight onto the outrageous expensathon that the traveling trougher from Te Atatu has been subjected too by Darth Blogger, it is quite amazing that Chris Carter can man up and come out in support of the big fellas campaign to change the outdated and frankly bent suppression laws that the rich and famous can hide behind in this country.

You're being facetious now: Carter will never be able to "man up".
He prefers the "passive" side of the verb.
Its more likely that carter doesn't actually know what the sign is about. He was probably skipping up the steps of parliament and saw this banner with a whale on and thought "goodeeee here's a chance for some exposure!".
Chris is one of the really nice Labourites, one who is down to earth and genuine...
