Speaking at Auckland airport yesterday Phil Goff confirmed his daughter's arrest but said he was confident she had never taken drugs. "I can tell you something, that my daughter has never taken drugs, never taken drugs. I'm not challenging this [court document], she was discharged, she was not convicted.

Of course it's stupid - even disregarding the ecstacy, she'll have presumably drunk alcohol at some point. Many parents seem to suffer from this variety of stupid, Goff is by no means the first or last of them.
If she doesn't take drugs she must have intended to supply them to someone else. A far more serious situation.
Baxter,that's precisely why Goff's intemperate remarks were so stupid.
BTW,does a 'policy analyst' working for MAF have anything to do the the Mininstry's policies regarding these little tablets? If thsMininstry has one, that is.
