What I can't figure out is what it was that caused his 'approval' rating to rise in March.
It's easy to see the current state of affairs is largely influenced by his inept handling of the oil spill and immigration issues on top of the Godawful Obamacare proposition.
It was probably some climate scientist recording the results while the real statistician was away on holiday.
The oil spill is a right disaster..
That being said the reaction on the right is hilarious…
Obama elected: Right wing nut “He’s a communist. He will trample all over business and people. Bad Obama.”
Oil spill happens: Obama says we will do what we can but its B.P.s responsibility. O my god he is letting the business sort it out. Right wing nuts “He isn’t trampling over business, he’s incompetent bad Obama.”
So you would like Obama to go marching in all over the top of private business with the big government boots? That’s a turn around.
According to Obama he IS "calling the shots" and definately in charge of cleaning up the oil spoil.

Obama has a statutory responsibility for controlling the spill. Do try to keep up with reality.
Oh, and to save you some time, Bush had NO statutory responsibility or ability to intervene in New Orleans over Katrin until he was asked to do so by the Democrat state governor and city mayor. They didn't ask until it was too late.
