The funniest and most shameful gem is the news that not too long ago Ridge was chased down and caught in a foot race by a lumbering fat old copper!
And a year earlier the former All Black was arrested after a
checkpoint incident in which he stopped his car and ran away. Ridge was chased
on foot, caught and pepper-sprayed.
