Click, Click, Click

At 0930 to day Adolf walked out to his car. He turned to collect forgotten glasses and his shoe slipped on the concrete.

There was a discernable noise. Click click click, as one foot shot forward and the other foot stayed back.

Torn hamstring. Agony. Right about where that line in the diagram is pointing.

That'll slow the silly old bugger down a bit. No more long walks, rowing machine or skating up and down an extension ladder for a while.

Bugger, Adolf, that sux. Maybe you could put the R&R time into getting the star ratings working again?

And the recent comments widget.

Bugger- still, that gives you more time to spell-check my material.

Adolf
You will now have time to check out the two Political polls released today.
TV1 and TV3 Pools Phil won't be happy.

Ouch, sorry to read about this Adolf.

Hope you have a speedy recovery and have some good reading at hand to lessen the temptation to do too much too soon.

You see, this is why getting up and moving around is bad for you. Those guys that lie on the couch all day watching TV and end up with a forklift removing their body from the house, they don't get these kind of injuries.

I'm not aware of any problem with the star ratings system, but for some unexplained reason our recent comments feed doesn't like it - recent comments always worked perfectly until we put the ratings widget in, and it's been all downhill since then, to the point where it doesn't seem to work at all now. I'll see if replacing it with a different comments widget sorts it out.

I am not sure what the drama is Adolf. I have torn hamstrings at least three times that I can recall. The most recent being about 5 years ago when I was chasing a shoplifter down the street in Hastings - I was catching up to her too lol.

Every time after a couple of days I could walk reasonably normally and as far as I wanted as long as I didn't push things too much. Getting started was the difficult part as well as getting in and out of the car - stairs were also a challenge for a while.

What I am saying while it may slow down your early morning meanderings it should not stop them completely.

Thanks for you comforting advice Milt and pdm. I'll start by checking TradeMe to see what forklifts are available.

Yes, I'm pleased to say this morning seems quite an improvement. Might not be as bad as I had expected.

Free time, Anon?

Self employed people don't have free time.

Anyway, if I had contracted Lock Jaw I might have been able to claim but thus far in my career, the only need for a good leg has been to kick the arse of delinquent doctors to get reports in on time.

DAVID good post, been there done that

Adolf's admiration for John key is well documented here but suggesting that he has had his prostate anywhere near John Key is a terrible slur. probabably untrue and is likely to get you banned in these parts anonymous.

Thank you, Barnsley.

I know I may have ovaried myself up to criticism from time to time but that fool's suggestion was ridiculous.

Poor advice Oswald. Whisky acts in the opposite manner for my big toe
