MEMO TO ALL THOSE SOUTH OF THE BRYNDERWYNS

If we promise to eat up all of our greens at dinner and go to bed early can we have some of your rain please?

I have an easement down to the Victoria River where I pump from but that is now starting to dry up while everywhere on the East Coast looks likes Western Oz.

Don't tell me it's global warming either. Just a long hot summer out of the box. Best in the seven years I've been up here.

Sorry Veteran, we're starting to need a bit of rain here ourselves in Wanganui (the Riviera of the North Island), but you can have as much of the wind as you want! This El Nino weather pattern is a pain in the butt!

We have had no rain of significance since October down here in kerikeri. My swimming pool is very popular at the moment. Most of my mates are using their pool water for the house tank.
I have been summering in the North since 88 and living here since 2005. This is an extraordinarily warm and dry summer.
Whhanganui....... Riviera of the North Island... More like Gdansk without the warm architecture.

Yes, it's all golden brown on the East Cape as well.
