Could be a long "partnership"

I guess the fact that the Treaty has now morphed into a Partnership should come as no surprise.
John Key knows that pandering to the Maori will keep him in power for as long as he wants.
And the MP know that whilst they have guaranteed apartheid seats in Parliament they can hold the balance of power for ever.
All in all a cosy little arrangement for a few "elite".

A deadly embrace between the cowards (National) and the racists (Maori) for which all of NZ will pay.

Shame on their leaders.

Redbaiter said...

This disgusting coward Key has to be rolled. Isn't there anyone left in National with a spine???

Redbaiter said...

...and there never was any "partnership". This is an abject lie repeated by an ignorant arrogant and contemptible pretender.

Most of all though, Key is going against his core voters, no one voted for this kind of leadership, he is worse than Clark.

Honestly, what vision does this guy have for the country - sleepwalking faster and faster to apartheid. What principles and values underly this very divisive pronouncement - none of course except expediency at the expense of the country. Fuck You John Key.

For fucks sake, it is a piece of cloth. A small kindness that will lift spirits in legions of people who live sad lives of poverty.
It does not matter why they are poor and broken. All that matters is lifting them out. This will cost nothing.

Gooner said...

What BB said.

Get over it people.

There are more important things to fight over.

Redbaiter said...

"This will cost nothing."

You've always been a damn fool Barnsely and this is no exception. What it will cost you is a civilized and racially homogenized country. Pandering to racist seperatists might be something a braindead dumbarse like you enjoys but it pisses me off no end.

This country has one flag and one flag only, and that is the flag a large number of two generations of NZers died to defend.

To have it defiled by these racists opportunists and a worthless and spineless politician is a disgrace and an insult to those who fought and died to defend it.

Don't lay your piss weak amoral Libertarian dogma on me you shallow thinking creep. It cuts no ice at all.

"A small kindness that will lift spirits in legions of people who live sad lives of poverty."

Ah what's that again? Thought it was "only a piece of cloth"? Or does that only apply to the traditional flag? You sloth brained fuckwit.

showmethetaxcut said...

Ah, a cilivized and racially homogenized country. Redbaiter, a man of the 1960s who has obviously never moved on.

You are the only anonymouse commenter that ever manages to make me angry redbaiter. with all the real issues we are facing in this country your overt racism is no better than the seperatist mongs.
If your mother knew the bile you were posting I am sure she would remove the computer from your bedroom and insist on an early lights out.

"If your mother knew the bile you were posting I am sure she would remove the computer from your bedroom and insist on an early lights out."

Hey arsehole, how about laying off the infantile waffle and explaining how the "Maori" flag has the power to "lift spirits (sic) in legions of people" and to "lift them out of poverty", when the traditional NZ flag of European origin is only " a piece of cloth".

Sounds to me like you're the racist, and you've just provided ample evidence of that.

Barnsley Bill said...

a country is more than a coloured piece of cloth you dolt. This country has all sorts. From productive members all the way through to nappy wearing mouth breathers like you. Please go and start your own blog and stop polluting this one with your racist drivel.

Redbaiter said...

Just more unoriginal abuse. You can't explain your racism can you Barnsley? You sad propaganda sucking loser. Grow a brain and develope your own thought processes you shameless trend follower.

Impossible of course. Just another treacle brained leftist robot who can't wait to slaver over the next fashionable cause.

Psycho Milt said...

Just more unoriginal abuse.

Yes, shame on you Barnsley Bill. Can't you model your approach on the calm, thoughtful, constructive and non-abusive style characterised by Redbaiter?

...the Treaty has now morphed into a Partnership...

In what sense has it morphed? It always was a partnership agreement between the Crown and Maori. The fact that we haven't honoured the agreement much of the time doesn't alter that fact. Are you suggesting that dishonouring it was the correct approach?

Inventory2 said...

What BB said (9.46pm)

The fact the BB's comment has upset Redbaiter makes it even more valid!

Redbaiter said...

" It always was a partnership agreement between the Crown and Maori. "

A lie. But then its Milt. Anyone expect anything else?.

" Yes, shame on you Barnsley Bill."

He did not even try to address the point I made. More odious twisting of fact from someone who shouldn't even be writing on a blog that characterizes itself as "right wing". Go and fine some overdue borrowers Milt. Exercise that power you enjoy so much.

Redbaiter said...

"What BB said (9.46pm)"

Seeing as it was just one big self contradiction, its no wonder you and the Goon agree.

Psycho Milt said...

You made a point? You mean the bit where you declare that NZ has only one flag? That was simply wrong, as a quick Google for the various ensigns in use for specific purposes in NZ would tell you.

Similarly, simply declaring the nature of the Treaty "a lie" isn't making a point, it's offering an opinion. You're welcome to offer your opinions here, but please don't pretend you're making some kind of argument when you do.

Anonymous said...

Well said BB. This has predictably upset the hillbilly demographic . FFS if this sort of thing is all you have to worry about go see people with real probems.

Anonymous said...

Sigh, again Psycho is right. And BB. It is a partnership between Maori and Pakeha.
Always has been in theory but never in practice. Until now maybe.

erikter and redbaiter are such bitter little men. Perhaps they should just fuck off if they dont like it.

Lou Taylor said...

I'm struggling to see how people who rally against a seperatist Maori movement are labelled racist, whilst those who think it is a great idea aren't.

South Africa taught the world a very important lesson about how not to do it. One that we ignore here at our peril.

Redbaiter said...

You made a point?

You tiresome leftist dromgool. I asked BB to explain why he demeans the (European based) flag in one instance as "a piece of cloth" inferring it is nothing important, yet in another instance, claims flying the Maori flag will give inspiration to "legions". He still has not explained this contradiction. (preferring intead to abuse me)

You leftists makes roadkill look smart. Everything has to be explained and repeated for you. Do you dress yourself Milt??

Redbaiter said...

The treaty was never ever any kind of partnership.

You historical revisionists can repeat the Progressive propaganda as often as you want, and although some dumb soft brained ignorant of history uneducated numb brained losers may come to believe it, the fact remains that it a lie.

There was never any partnership.

David Baigent said...

Redbaiter has arisen as the next philu, but with better punctuation.

Anonymous said...

It is the same partnership that I have: A citizenship, subject to the Crown, with all the benefits and restrictions of the law.

Anything else is a construct.

There is only one other flag I would consider as an alternative. The jack that was designed by both maori and pakeha, the flag of the United Tribes. It precedes our own ensign, is well designed and looks way better than the tino version.

George

Lou Taylor said...

Milt
I find the use of the word "partnership" a worry as it implies some sort of business relationship. That implies that there will be losers and winners. And by the looks of it plenty of the former and only a few of the latter.

As opposed to a "Treaty" which implies equal opportunity for all under a rule of law.
In that respect us Pakeha have honoured the Treaty and compensated where necessary.

Psycho Milt said...

I asked BB to explain why he demeans the (European based) flag in one instance as "a piece of cloth" inferring it is nothing important, yet in another instance, claims flying the Maori flag will give inspiration to "legions".

Perhaps he just doesn't consider your poor reading comprehension to be his problem?

BB wrote: "For fucks sake, it is a piece of cloth. A small kindness that will lift spirits in legions of people who live sad lives of poverty." ie, the Maori flag is just a piece of cloth but flying it will lift the spirits of a lot of Maori. Any denigration of NZ's national flag is in your imagination.

erikter said...

Despite all protestations by the usual Key's acolytes and sycophants, this is nothing but a vile surrender to the racist Maory Party.

Redbaiter said...

Milt, you're such a waste of time and bandwidth.

Even if one accepts your (as usual) grossly contrived interpretation it cannot be "just a piece of cloth" and simultaneously an emblem that gives inspiration to legions. It can only be one or the other, and the drooling idiot Barnesly in another example of his confused liberal thought processes, has got his Libertarian dogma confused with his racist/ progressive propaganda.

"Despite all protestations by the usual Key's acolytes and sycophants, this is nothing but a vile surrender to the racist Maory Party."

Damn right, and look at said "protestations". Not a half decent argument even attempted among the lot of them. Just the usual wide eyed outrage that someone should have dared to express views they consider "unapproved".

Pathetic.

The question is which flag is right for 'Maori.'
There is the 1835 Independence Flag to consider too.
As I have blogged over at the Fairfacts Media Show, key is barking up the wrong flagpole!

A partnership is not a zero sum game. It is trade for mutual advantage. Maybe you should piss off Lou Taylor. It annoys me when immigrants like yourself bash NZ and call us racist. Especially South Africans.

Like everything else that we brought with us, Maori had never even heard of "flags" until we arrived, and thus this whole abusive debate is a non-event. Let 'em fly what they like (including a kite), it won't change a damn thing about the way they (don't) think.

Yep, like the 72% of respondents to the Stuff online poll who consider it an outrage.

You pathetic impotent coward, you wouldn't have the faintest clue.

You're always trying to push some feeble lie or some gross propaganda message as fact.

The integrity of a hyena.

Redbaiter said...

" Keep up the good work chaps!"

Barnesly no doubt will. That is when he makes his feeble mind up as to whether its an event that will provide inspiration to "legions of people" or "an inconsequential issue".

Pitiful muddle headed ranting geriatric.

Barnsley Bill said...

I wonder if you would be quite so agressive face to face?

Psycho Milt said...

...whether its an event that will provide inspiration to "legions of people" or "an inconsequential issue".

It doesn't surprise me that someone set permanently on surly and abusive, ie someone who wouldn't recognise courtesy or generosity of spirit if bitten by them on the bum, is incapable of understanding that sometimes a trivial and inconsequential gesture can have a great and beneficial effect in one's dealings with others.

However, most of us do understand courtesy. Barnsley Bill's told you he doesn't want any more of your abuse on this thread of his blog. Act on it.

Redbaiter said...

Oh well, who is surprised?

Same old same old-

No Minister's cowardly leftist faction doing what they always have to do in the end- when they run out of the ability to pretend to be objective and tolerant, and the lies they always employ wear thin, and their abuse and misrepresentation fails, and their contorted logic even embarasses them, they start deleting messages.

Doesn't all that power feel so good Milt??.

It beats me what you and Barnesly are doing here. Polluting a blog that markets itself as right wing with sad predictable Progressive drivel.

Instead of deleting comments from right wingers, why don't you just fuck off and start your own blog??

I'll tell you why. Because we both know it would be as popular as Barnesly's derelict and laughably feeble attempt at blogging.

You prefer to ride on the coat tails of Adolf and the right wingers here who draw the crowds.

Typical Progressive. No moral constraints, no personal standards, no ability and no guts.

No wonder you nauseate most of your regular readers.

I did, along with Adolf and Gooner. It's called No Minister, the blog you're busy crapping all over.

One of the owners of No Minister has told you to leave this thread. As blog admin I'm happy to enforce his property rights in this matter - he's by no means obliged to provide you with a platform from which to abuse him. Anything else you post on this thread will be deleted, unless Barnsley Bill requests otherwise.
