That would be a picture of all the bleating ACToids who seem to relish the prospect of Labour coming back to power if Brashs plans got implemented....

The plan is, stay in power and change slowly. Which we are doing. Cutting Govt spending is a good start

I tend to agree Anon. But it's the rhetoric from Key and English that bugs me. English has called it unrealistic. Key has dismissed it. Let's see what they do in 2010.

That's a photo of John Key.

That photo could be used on the righthand side of a National Election poster.

Hey Nick where are your specs?

Missing Helen? Let's see what they do in 2011, when Key's honeymoon will be well and truly devoid, the way he is going. What a pair, should have listed to Facelift.

The trouble is you can get more done in 3 fast years than 9 slow years.

You might even get 6 years, as Roger did.

And, you have no guarantee of 9 years.

Ruth did more with ONE year than Roger or anyone else has ever done in 3 or 6 or 9.

Do you know how hard it would be to zero all benefits from the dole to the DBP to super - by monday?

it would take a one page order in council.
It can be done overnight

If Brash had been elected in 2005 - he would have done it!

Er, but in one year the Nats were too spooked to let Ruth do anything else. So the Nats have historically shown to have smaller balls than Labour, Helen excluded :)

The plan should never be about doing something because it is popular. It should be about making it hard to ever go back. Cutting expenditure is very important, but when is it going to start?
