What John Key Should Read

Powerline's John Hinderaker writes a superlative analysis of the recently hacked e-mails of the world's most prominent global warmenisers. The e-mails are conclusive and devastating. The world has been conned by a bunch of pseudo scientists fronted by a B grade US presidential no-hoper. The gas bag at last has been pricked.

The whole scientific basis of global warming alarmism is flawed and indeed fraudulent.

The much vaunted IPCC report is baseless.

Here's the stand out line:-

"It, along with the rest of the email archive, makes an utter mockery of the alarmists' claim that the science of global warming is settled in their favor. On the contrary, the conclusion an observer is likely to draw from the CRU archive is that the climate alarmists are making up the science as they go along and are fitting facts to reach a predetermined conclusion rather than objectively seeking after truth. What they are doing is politics, not science."

New Zealand should demand a rigorous review of all the so-called 'accepted science' attached to global warming hysteria and as an interim measure we should IMMEDIATELY withdraw from Kyoto and the economic suicidal folly which is an Emissions Trading Scheme.

The Nats--aided by the media which seem determined to ignore this--will do the same and when the fuss has died down will go ahead with the ETS anyway.
Truth isn't going to derail this scam.

But Key will not listen and will go ahead with this madenss, which will cost us billions of dollars.

Why is the PM so weak, so detached, so indecisive? Why does he sit on the fence avoiding the difficult issues? Why does he leave the ETS to Nick Smith?

The National Party should be ashamed of its "leaders'.

By whom? The Prime Minister's scientific advisor? Yeah Right!

we should IMMEDIATELY withdraw from Kyoto

It is the root of all evil in climate science!

I posted around midnight wondering how the msm might cover the matter here. There has been a fair amount of covergage globally.
I cannot find anything on the Stuff or TVNZ websites but there is an agency story of the Herald wesbite taking a computer hacking angle.
Has it made the dead tree version too?

"Truth isn't going to derail this scam." KG is sadly correct.

The culprits are the MSM which suck up the politics rather than assessing the science. Bloody frustrating isn't it?

Not only is Nick Smith not going to slow down on his ETS, he is going to pay the Maori Party billions of dollars to buy their support. He's in the wrong party, but not even Goff would have him. He should join Metira Tureri in the Greens. So should Key, unless he sacks Smith to put an end to this farce.

As KG suggests the days of truth and commonsense are long gone. The politicians couldn't care less about what generation 40+ think. They are targeting the young.

Once enough of them grow up believing in climate change the rest will be history.
A world of big government, control and personal freedom being curtailed.

Oh yes. Yes indeed. Liberty will be but a dim memory for those people. And what's more, those who loved liberty will be cast as the villains of a bygone age.

Hear, hear. Thing is John Key / Nick Smith have an agenda that's just as radical (and largely the same) of that Klark/Cullen and that is now being demonstrated all over the "western world". Decades of creeping PC and socialism are coming to a head. It's becoming a matter of months, not years, before decisive changes are pushed through.
Only a true revolution can now stop the momentum.

Governments ignoring the masses regardless of what is common sense and what is true seems a worrying trend.
I note this over yesterday's March for Democracy.
Now wonder the Brits are turning to the BNP and the Amercians to the Tea Party movement.
The political classes being so out of touch and trying to impose their will, will only fuel such protest.

The excuse we are given is that if we don't uniquely tax agriculture then no Nation will trade with us and the common people will starve rather than buy our produce, yet it seems to me that none of the Asian Countries we have recently signed agreements with intend to take much notice of Global warming,Aussie has decided not to tax agriculture, USA is unlikely to ratify anything OBAMA signs, and no nation takes our produce now for any reason but self interest and low cost so how is that likely to change.
