Odds or Evens?

The Queer Slack Caps had a good win over the Pakis today.

But have a look at our batting performance in the second innings.

All the odd number dicks made ducks.

I am eternally grateful that I am not a black caps fan.

It is about as bad as being a long suffering Warriors fan.

Who are the "Queer Slack Caps"? Is that supposed to demonstrate the quality of your wit somehow Adolf? It does, but not in the way you intend I suspect.

Anyway a win's a win, and the bowlers did a great job. I know you like to knock success, but you should be happy.

Agreed Judge Holden. Victories by the Black Caps in the test arena are rare beasts, and ought to be celebrated, not derided.

And smtc - as a NZ cricket supporter of 50 years duration, I've experienced plenty of highs, and plenty of deep lows. This was a very good and gutsy win, in what was an excellent test match.

Man of the match to the groundskeeper - Dunedin turned on a perfect test pitch. Started good for batting, gave a bit of variable bounce to bowlers at end. Nice.

Bowlers from both sides were good - not just Bond (who was very penetrative). Chris Martin stood out taking 3 times his usual 1 wicket per innings in both innings.

But what on earth is Fulton doing back in the batting lineup? Tried & failed repeatedly at intl level. Pick Chris Harris instead for goodness sake. He at least can score centuries at domestic and intl level!
